1 Rose Memorial Library NEWSLETTER Fall October, November, & December Greetings, Fall Into A Good Book As we move into the holiday season the library has planned several programs to help the community. From November 8-14, the library will be offering an Amnesty Week. If you have overdue fines this is your chance to eliminate your fines and help your community. Bring in canned or boxed food items in exchange for your Rose Memorial Library overdue fines. All food items must be unopened and unexpired. We will also be holding a donation drive for Hi- Tor Animal Care Center on December 15. The library welcomes two new employees. Charles DeYoe is the new Adult Services Librarian. Charles comes to us from Thrall Public Library District of Middletown and Wallkill where he served as a reference librarian and local history librarian. He previously worked at the State University of New York, University at Buffalo, Charles P. Sears Law Library, Koren A/V Center. Charles received his Master of Library Science from the State University of New York. Veronica Coffey is our new Youth Services Librarian. Veronica has previously worked at New York Public Library, Desmond-Fish Library and Highland Falls Library. Veronica earned her Master of Library and Information Science from Long Island University. Friends meetings are the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm. If you have art, artifacts, or a special collection that you would like to display at the library, please contact Jennifer Brown at jbrown@rcls.org with your contact information. Board of Trustees Meeting Wednesday, October 21 at 6 pm Shira, the Psychic Medium Tuesday, October 27 at 7 pm Shira Benedetto is a gifted psychic medium who will conduct a gallery reading communicating with Spirit. Children under age 13 wishing to play Minecraft will need their parents to set up a Minecraft account.
