2 Dear Friends, We invite you to join us in celebrating our nation s heroes at our 40th Anniversary Veterans Day and Profiles of Courage Award Ceremony, on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. It is because of community supporters like you that we are able to help so many veterans lift themselves out of the wreckage caused by the wounds of war. Without our comprehensive services, many more veterans would face unemployment, be denied healthcare, struggle alone with their invisible wounds of war and eventually be faced with homelessness. Our responsibility to serve our nation s veterans will grow, but together as a community we can prevent another generation of homeless heroes. This year, as we celebrate 40 years of service to veterans in need, we call upon you to sponsor our Annual Veterans Day Dinner.
