2 Mayfest is a four-day annual Fort Worth family festival. Mayfest attracts over 225,000 guests and is held on 33 acres in Trinity Park. Attractions include Shale Exploration Art and Gift Market, Tom Thumb Children s Area, Riverbank Area, Range Area, Frost Zone Area, The Base Area, the Mayfest Run, Special Needs Day, Senior Citizen s Day, Military Day, live music and performing arts and entertainment on seven stages. There are a number of special attraction show, rides activities, games and delectable food and beverage choices. Mayfest includes something for everyone and strives to entertain the entire family. Mayfest s Mission is two-fold. The first is to raise funds supporting community programs and recreational development in Fort Worth. Since 1973, Mayfest has returned over 6.65 million dollars to the Fort Worth community. The majority of festival goers attend with family. 68% of festival attendees will support a sponsor because of their support of Mayfest. 50 Humane Society Cats and Dogs found homes in ,000 confetti eggs were sold in Clarice Tinsley of FOX 4 NEWS showcased the 2,000 volunteers it take to make Mayfest happen in a Hometown Hero segment.. The Mayfest Run had 800 participants. 5 SPONSOR Information Important Mayfest Information: 1. No food or beverage samples or sales: Food is allowed with restricted sampling, 2 oz. limit. Vendor cannot sell food. 2. Vendors needing more than one electrical outlet must arrange for additional power at least 48 hours prior to event. Service fee will apply. Check List (Must have before set up) All fees must be paid in full on or before April 1, 2015 in order be allowed into Mayfest grounds for set up. Approval of handouts: Anything to be handed out during Mayfest must be approved by the Mayfest, Inc. Executive Director. Please submit a copy of handout(s) on or before April 1, Certificate of General Liability, One Million Dollars, Mayfest, Inc. listed as additional insured. Mayfest rd Party: If sampling, needs to fit in 2 ounce sample cup and must be approved by Mayfest. No roaming in park; must stay within 2 feet of approved space.
