Invitation Dear Partners/ Sponsors, Greetings from the National Organizing Committee of the 11th World Congress on Adolescent Health! Every four years the World Congress on Adolescent Health is organized by the International Association for Adolescent Health (IAAH) and you will be happy to know that India has been selected to host the 11th World Congress in New Delhi. MAMTA Health Institute for Mother and Child (MAMTA) and the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) are co-hosting this Congress in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India and Professional Associations such as the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI) and the Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI). India has the world's largest population of adolescents and young adults up to the age of 30 years and this Congress will present new approaches and best practices contributing to accelerated evidence-informed action for their health and development from around the world; provide a unique opportunity to shine a light on clinical and public health successes and challenges; and offer a chance for India to showcase its policies, programmes and evidence base. It is estimated that approximately 1000+ participants from across the country and globally will take part in this event. Every effort will be made to ensure that adolescents and young adults are engaged in the planning and implementation of the Congress. The 11th World Congress will take place in New Delhi, India, 7-9 October, 017 which would bring together researchers, clinicians, policy makers, programmers and young people to learn about cuttingedge research, and share ideas and experiences about policies and programmes for adolescent health and development. It has prestigious International and National Scientific Committees, and a National Organizing Committee that will ensure strong representation and engagement by a wide range of academic institutions, NGOs, government ministries/departments and other adolescent health stakeholders. While we will of course cover some of the costs associated with the running of this event from the registration fees, we have endeavored to keep the participation fee low, particularly for participants from India and the sub-region, and from low and middle-income countries. We are therefore approaching your company/organization to support the World Congress financially, and a number of ways of doing this are outlined in this document. IAAH 017 welcomes exhibitors who wish to promote their products and other resources. You can find additional details about the World Congress and sponsorship opportunities on our website: http://www.iaah017congress.org/. For further information please do not hesitate to contact us at congressiaah017@mamtahimc.org. We look forward to having you involved with what we believe will be a memorable event that will help to shape the future of adolescent health in India and globally, and hope, through this initiative to foster a long lasting partnership with your organization/company. With kind regards, Dr. Bruce Dick President, IAAH Dr. Sunil Mehra Executive Director, MAMTA Prof. K. Srinath Reddy President, PHFI
