Bobby Bend School was one of the lucky schools, out of fourteen schools in the province, to receive a lovely bench made out of plastic bags and wood composites. A special thanks to the students at the Infinity Program (TIP) who helped our Green Team count and sort the bags throughout the campaign. Thank you to all students and the community for sending in plastic bags this fall. Bags can now be dropped off at the recycling bin at Family Foods.

Grade 4 s attended a fun day in January at Oak Hammock Marsh, celebrating Festival du Voyageur Day. Students rotated through various activities both inside and out. -making bannock over an open fire -learning about the beaver and the fur trade -Voyageur games - snowshoeing The weather cooperated which made it a lovely day outside. On the way home, the buses made a quick stop to see visit William Kurelek Park. We trudged through some very deep snowdrifts, but managed to look at the wonderful examples of Mr. Kurelek s paintings. We hope parents will stop by in the summer months to learn a bit more about this world famous artist. Mrs. T. Comeau Grade 4 Festival du Voyageur February 17th 26th
