Contributions to association leadership can be made by every member. This session explores the range of leadership contributions CRNAs can make at the local, state and national level and explore the implications for governance should a member be interested. Learning Objectives Include: Assessing potential individual contributions to TxANA/AANA leadership; Identifying future association leadership opportunities and an action plan to add competencies and engage Leadership; and Recognizing that governance is different than committee or task force work or being popular, and what a member should be working on should they aspire to a board of director s seat. This course will have a lecture on the regional block programs and how to successfully place catheters as well as visualize the anatomy. The course will be an educational opportunity to scan live models to visualize the tissue layers for a more precise block. This will be a very interactive and hands course.
