5 GENERAl INfoRMATIoN Accreditation Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a sponsor of continuing education in podiatric medicine. This program provides 12 Continuing Education Contact Hours. The American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) will honor 1-for-1 CEUs for any live event offering CME credit. One hour of instruction is worth one CEU. A certificate of attendance or completion is necessary to show participation. AAPC-certified members should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. AAPC Maximum 12 hours.
