CIVIL CEREMONIES All the rooms Aldourie Castle are licensed for civil ceremonies; choose from the Main Hall, Drawing Room, Library or a Marquee. The Castle itself can accommodate up to 50 guests for the wedding service. Usually the wedding ceremony would be carried out by the local registrar but Religious and Humanist Ceremonies may also take place. YOUR RECEPTION For smaller parties the castle can cater for up to 50 guests for your meal and reception and the dining room can accommodate a more intimate party. For larger numbers we advise a marquee on the lawn next to the Castle or further down the parkland near the idyllic shores of Loch Ness and unmatchable views across to the Highlands. FOOD & DRINK Catering at Aldourie Castle is second to none. Our in house chef can work with you to design a bespoke wedding breakfast menu using the best local Scottish produce complemented by fine wines. The following morning you and your guests can enjoy a traditional Scottish breakfast either on the terrace in summer or in the snug Laird s Room with its cosy fire. LUXURY GUEST ACCOMMODATION The guests who are lucky enough to be staying at the Castle with the wedding party can check in from your time of choice on your special day, giving access to the beautiful and individual bedrooms for as long as possible. Each of the 13 bedrooms has been fondly re-designed to emulate their original look and feel to help create a welcoming atmosphere and memories to treasure. allowing you to carefully select them to suit your guests. For larger parties additional accommodation is available in the four traditional cottages on the estate (for 21 people). In total the Estate can accommodate 50 guests.
