2 Welcome to Parkstead House Clients are often amazed when visiting Parkstead House. They have just discovered a venue only 5 miles from Central London, but with its vast grounds and breathtaking views across Richmond Park, they feel they are a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of city life. When it comes to organising your meeting, conference or corporate event, whether your guest numbers are large or small, the team at Parkstead House will help you tailor your event to suit your needs. Parkstead House is situated in the grounds of Whitelands College, where in the summer months a number of additional seminar rooms are available for hire as well as en-suite accommodation. This flexible venue offers a unique setting for your meeting or any other social occasion. Originally designed for the 2nd Earl of Bessborough, this Grade I listed House retains many of its original Georgian features for you and your clients to enjoy. The venue has easy access from all major transport links and free car parking is available on site.

3 Meeting Facilities The Chambers Suite of five light and airy rooms with decorative ceilings and fire places are suitable for boardroom meetings and theatre style seminars. Room layouts can be altered to suit your needs with use of modern but comfortable furniture. Three of these beautiful rooms overlook Richmond Park and create a relaxed but unique atmosphere for your meeting. All rooms have use of standard AV equipment which includes plasma screen with built in data projector, DVD/Video player and flip chart.

4 Conference Facilities William Morris & Gilbert Scott Lecture Theatres Seating up to 300 and 150 delegates, with state of the art audio visual, these tiered theatres are ideal for conferences, product launches and presentations. The lecture theatres can be used in conjunction with a further 19 seminar rooms for break out activities or you could make use of the vast grounds for some team building exercises! 5 Conference Catering Depending on the number of delegates attending your event, Parkstead House has a number of rooms for catering. From a modern dining room with a decking area and stunning views, to a stylish bar where delegates can relax after a hard days work. We have a number of different day delegate packages to suit all budgets and our inhouse caterer will be delighted to talk through your requirements for the day or evening. We also have a number of accredited external caterers which offers you and your clients even more choice. The suite of five Chambers rooms also lend themselves perfectly to small private business lunches. Accommodation & Leisure Accommodation The Parkstead House site has 250 bedrooms in the summer months all of which are en-suite with use of a lounge and kitchen area for every 6 to 10 rooms. These modern and comfortable bedrooms make the venue ideal for residential conferences as the accommodation is on the same site as the lecture theatres and meeting rooms. The venue has full disabled access to all meeting rooms and its on-site accommodation. Disabled bedrooms are also available on request. Leisure and local attractions There are many nearby leisure pursuits such as golf, cycling and horse-riding over Wimbledon Common, as well as local tourist attractions such as Kew Gardens, Richmond Park, Wimbledon Tennis Courts and Museum and the Wetlands Centre in Barnes.

6 Corporate Events From team building days to Christmas parties, BBQs to cocktail receptions Parkstead House really is a venue that has it all... Parkstead House This beautiful picturesque Georgian Villa is ideal, not only for daytime meetings, but also evening cocktail receptions, buffets and dinner parties. Guests can make their way up two sweeping staircases and sip champagne whilst wandering through a suite of light airy rooms with ornamental ceilings and original fire places. Stepping out of the house there is a beautiful balcony where guests can marvel at the wonderful views of the Park. The Manresa Hall With its soaring decorative ceilings and archways, the stunning Manresa Hall can hold dinner dances for up to 150 people. Guests can make their way to the Hall through a beautiful courtyard and wonderful stone corridor. Both Parkstead House and the Manresa Hall can be transformed with atmospheric lighting and beautiful flowers to give your event the wow factor that is so important for corporate events. Bar Code This funky new addition to the Parkstead House site, has become a popular reception area where corporate clients can really let their hair down after a hard days meeting or team building day. With a stunning long white bar, dance floor, and outside balcony with Park views, this bar is perfect for informal drinks receptions or buffets for up to 250 guests. The room also has a built-in music system, data projector, satellite TV and big screen.

7 Team Building The Parkstead House team can co-ordinate your whole event from your business meeting to team building activities on our vast lawn areas. Our grounds are suitable for inflatables, archery, BBQs the possibilities are endless! Marquees The stunning backdrop of Parkstead House and views of Richmond Park, make this a unique location for marquees. The lawn area directly in front of the house is suitable for a marquee for up to 400 guests for a seated dinner. The lower field area which is approximately 100 x 125 metres is suitable for any size marquee. Parkstead created a solid backdrop to our client s event.
