Speakers Dr Cass M.D., Sr. VP and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Paul T. Cass is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Medical Affairs for Genesis HealthCare Corporation in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Since 1974, Dr. Cass has been a physician staff member with Crosier Keystone Health Care System in Upland, PA. Dr. Cass has been with Genesis since 1993. Dr. Cass is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Christian and Missionary Alliance Foundation overseeing Shell Point Retirement Community in Ft. Myers, Florida. He earned his MD from Hahnemann Medical College, where he also completed his internship and residency and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine with added qualifications in Geriatric Medicine. Ted Mulligan, OTR/L, MBA Ted Mulligan has over 17 years of experience as an occupational therapist, the majority of which has occurred in the skilled nursing and long term care facilities. He has held positions as a staff occupational therapist, Rehab Program Manager, Clinical Reimbursement Manager, and is currently Director or Reimbursement Rehab Services for Genesis Healthcare. The past 8 years has been devoted to clinical reimbursement for Medicare Part A SNF and state specific Medicaid programs. He has provided training, auditing and consulting services to numerous providers and to all levels of staff. His recent focus relates to the rehabilitation component of clinical reimbursement and educating center and rehab personnel on managing reimbursement challenges and opportunities. Novaleigh Dodge-Krupa, PT NovaLeigh Dodge-Krupa, Director of Reimbursement Services, oversees the operational management of the Genesis Reimbursement Group for Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She has over 14 years of clinical and management experience in the healthcare field. Ms. Krupa has held various positions specifically related to reimbursement including Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator and Senior Clinical Reimbursement Manager. She possesses an in-depth knowledge related to Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and revenue enhancement opportunities. Mary Lea Habbegar MA-CCC/SLP Mary Lea Habbegar is the Director of Clinical Operations for Genesis Rehabilitation Services. She provides leadership and educational support to Clinical Specialists in Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and Kansas. Mary Lea graduated from Marshall University with her MA in 1993 and has practiced in a variety of settings with the last 13 years spent primarily in long- term care. Mary Lea is a Master Clinician in Dysphagia for Genesis Rehabilitation Services, and has presented continuing education courses for GRS on various clinical topics including: Medically Complex Patient s-opportunities for Rehab; Geriatric Practice; A Cognitive Framework- An Interdisciplinary Approach to Dementia; A Clinical Reasoning Model for Leadership, Dysphagia-The Basics; Auditory Rehabilitation; Speech-Swallowing- Tracheotomy/ Ventilator Dependence; Cognitive Linguistic Therapy; Staging Dementia-A Nursing Approach; and Vital Stimulation Therapy. Mary Lea has presented at the Wisconsin Speech and Hearing Convention, the Ohio Speech Language Pathology Convention, the Ohio Health Care Convention and the Alzheimer s Association on topics impacting geriatric rehab. Rob Greene Robert Greene, Director of Business Development, has over 16 years of healthcare experience working in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Independent Living, Home Health, and Outpatient Rehab facilities. Mr. Greene has held positions as a staff clinician, Facility Rehab Director, Regional Clinical Manager, Area Director of Operations, and is currently serving as Director of Business Development for Genesis Rehab Services. Barbara Hoover, M.A, CCC-SLP Barbara Hoover is a native of Pittsburgh and has been a Speech- Language Pathologist for the past 17 years. Barbara has worked in a variety of clinical environments including long-term care, sub-acute, hospital and school settings. Barbara joined Genesis in 1994 and most recently serves as the Director of Business Development for Western PA, OH and MI. She has also worked for GRS as Area Director in Pittsburgh, PA and MD; as well as, a Clinical Specialist, Mentor and staff therapist. She holds a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Barbara lives in Pittsburgh with her husband and 3 daughters. ** Note Speakers are Subject to Change

Attendance & Registration Policies This educational offering has been reviewed by the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) or the National Association of Boards of Examiners of Long Term Care Administrators (NAB) and approved for 6 clock hours and 6 participant hours. REGISTRATION / PAYMENT METHOD Cost The cost for this seminar is $199.00. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided at no additional cost. The fee for this class will be waived for all GRS Customers. The submission of your registration form is subject to availability. Class sizes are limited to 30 participants per class. All registration fees must be paid at time of registering. Registrations will not be processed and name badges will not be available to attendees until payment by check or credit card is received in our office. Phone registrations are not accepted. ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS Please note that the total credit hours listed for this program assume a full day of attendance. In the event of late arrival and/or early departure, hours will be amended accordingly. Credit is only available for each full session attended. To receive credit for the entire program, participants are expected to sign-in, attend the entire program and sign out at the conclusion of the program. It is the responsibility of the attendee to notify the staff monitoring attendance of any sessions during the program that they did not attend so that credits can be adjusted accordingly. CANCELLATION POLICY If a registrant cannot attend, an alternate registrant may attend in his/her place. Cancellations received more than 14 business days prior to the program will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 7-13 business days prior to the program will receive a refund of 50% of the registration fee. Cancellations received within 6 days of the class date will not receive a refund. Refunds will be issued via check from the GRS office after the program dates regardless of the original payment type.
