Web Design and Digital Marketing E Commerce Associate Circa 18k pro-rata Full time, fixed term contract until 31 st May 2015 The Role: Your task will be to take ownership of this challenging and demanding e- commerce and marketing project, working with academic supervision at Supra Enterprises premises. The aim will be the completed development and targeted marketing of a functional online pharmacy ecommerce business with the view of extending the focus on holistic medicine management for patient wellbeing. The key aims: To improve the design and user interface based on preliminary testing and competitor analysis. Successful launch of a functional ecommerce site. Development of an online promotional strategy including social media. Candidate Profile: A graduate with a degree in a web and e commerce design/development or web marketing related discipline awarded in the last 3 academic years. Ideally have an interest in healthcare and patient wellbeing. Experience working within a commercial environment with a practical working knowledge of web and e-commerce design/development, user focused platforms and social media marketing. Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and social media marketing would be an advantage. Understanding and experience of Magenta and WordPress platforms. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to prioritise own workload, to work without direct supervision and ability to use own initiative. Self- motivated, enthusiastic with a commitment to high standards. The Project in context: The project exists to transfer knowledge between De Montfort University and Supra Enterprises, where the post will be based. The aim will be the completed development and targeted marketing of an online pharmacy which focuses on holistic medicines management for patient wellbeing. Main duties and responsibilities The post will be based at 2 Watergate Lane, (The Green Warehouse), Leicester, LE3 2XP. The post holder will work closely with Supra Enterprises staff as well as researchers from the Faculty of Art, Design and Humanities at De Montfort University.
