We have put together a cutting edge and broad scientific program covering key and current aspects of immune responses at mucosal surfaces. The conference aims at providing state of the art knowledge in our understanding of immune homeostasis, inflammation and infection at mucosal surfaces and to serve as a forum to foster communication and collaboration between industry and researchers at all stages in their career within the field of mucosal immunology. On behalf of the local organising committee, William Agace Katharina Lahl Marcus Svensson Frej ABOUT THE EUROPEAN MUCOSAL IMMUNOLOGY GROUP (EMIG) The EMIG (European Mucosal Immunology Group) was founded in 1998 by European members of the international Society for Mucosal Immunology (SMI). It was created with the purpose of bringing together European medical and scientific expertise on mucosal immunity, including inflammation, allergy, vaccination and immune tolerance. In the intervening period, the role of the intestinal microbiota in driving mucosal and systemic disease has become a further major focus. EMIG aims at reinforcing international collaborations in these areas and expanding interactions with researchers in other fields. 2

GENERAL INFORMATION DATES 19-21 October 2016 CONFERENCE VENUE DGI-byen Tietgensgade 65 1704 Copenhagen V Denmark IMPORTANT DEADLINES 29 April 2016 Abstract submission deadline 1 July 2016 Early registration deadline 8 September 2016 Adverts for final programme OFFICIAL LANGUAGE The conference will be held in English PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION Terms of payment: 25 % of the total amount will be invoiced and is due 14 days after ordering. The remaining amount will be invoiced in April 2016. After 1 April 2016, all orders will be invoiced immediately upon ordering. All bookings must be made by e-mail sent to the Secretariat and must contain an invoice, address, PO number (if needed), and VAT number. Cancellation: Any cancellation of stand booking, symposia, or other reservations before 1 April 2016, will incur a cancellation fee of 25 % of the total cost of the reservation. Cancellations after 1 April 2016 are non-refundable.
