Program Championships: It will be possible to compete in the following categories: 1. Hokei championship: a. Freestyle hokei, any known hokei can be adjusted as long as it is in line with SENGI UNGI etc. The idea is that one can change i.e. in Sentai no Hokei the Sentai no Chokojo Tsuki into Sentai Tegatana no Uchi. <18 yrs 18-35 yrs 35-5 yrs >5 yrs Rule: runners up b. Own hokei, create your own hokei There is no restriction on the use of techniques but the Hokei should be in line with the basic idea behind Taido Hokei, i.e. use more than 1 line Rule: duration 3 minutes max., one performance, judged individually by 6 judges. 2. Jissen; <18 yrs 18-35 yrs 35-5 yrs >5 yrs Rule: poule system, from quarter finals runners up. 3. Tenkai; Rule: mixed country system, team will be composed based on nationality and rank in the morning, matches in the afternoon. 4. Kids parcour Rule: as at the World Championships in Finland 213. In case there are not enough participants the organising committee is free to adjust the schedule and or to rearrange groups.

Excursions There will be a free afternoon and evening on Friday, 3 rd of August. This will give you an opportunity to do some sightseeing as you like. If you would like to walk around by yourself, you can visit other famous Dutch cities like Amsterdam or Rotterdam, which are close to Leiden (3-4 minutes using public transport). Anticipating good weather, renting a bicycle is also a good idea. There are beautiful beaches in Noordwijk and Katwijk within cycling distance from Leiden. Museums/Exhibitions The Netherlands are famous for natural history museums and art exhibitions. Here are some suggestions: Leiden Hortus Botanicus The University of Leiden's Botanical Garden has, for over four hundred years, collected and cultivated planets from all over the world (primarily from the tropics of Asia). We highly recommend a visit to these beautiful gardens. Naturalis - National Museum for Natural History Naturalis is constantly on the move: there are always new exhibitions and guided tours to experience. Take a look at <www.naturalis.nl> for the latest info. The Siebold House You can see the precious collection all kinds of everyday tools of Japan in 18 th century only in the Siebold House. Take a look at <www.sieboldhuis.org>. Amsterdam Rijksmuseum The Rijksmuseum (Dutch for Natural Museum) is dedicated to arts, craft and history. Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam This museum hosts the largest collection of the Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh's paintings and drawings in the world. Be inspired at <www.vangoghmuseum.nl>! The Hague Escher Museum, The Hague The Escher Museum, housed in a former palace dating from the 18th Century, features the works of the Dutch graphical artist M. C. Escher.
