Since its inception in 1912 Churchie has pursued a philosophy of preparing students to be well-balanced men, contributing positively to the community. Primary Purpose of Position DUTY STATEMENT The Portal/LMS administrator is responsible for developing, maintaining and managing the Portal/ LMS systems and services to ensure the provision of a quality, up-to-date platform that meets School s business requirements. The Portal/LMS administrator reports to the ICT Director, liaises with all Anglican Church Grammar School employees and is responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with relevant service providers. Please note the School reserves the right to alter this position description based on operational needs. Key Accountabilities Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Application Management Day-to-day administration of the SharePoint application in both production and development environments (Infrastructure level administration is provided by Churchie Network System Administrators); Design, deploy and implement SharePoint configurations as needed to ensure the platform delivers measureable value to the business; Design and develop new features and functionality through the use of workflows, page layouts, electronic forms using InfoPath and SharePoint Designer; Administer and manage the SharePoint application to ensure appropriate service levels are met; Responsible for the implementation, management, and improvement of the School's Learning Management System (LMS) (Blackboard), Classroom Management Tools (DyKnow) and other e-learning applications as required; Manage e-learning applications including: users, enrolments, classes, security, reliability, automation and upgrades; Work with academic leaders to support the development and implementation of the School s LMS environment; Strong engagement with the School community to provide relevant professional development in relation to the Portal/LMS ; Perform systems analysis for capacity planning purposes.

Knowledge Management Provide level 1 and 2 end user support and ongoing training via a number of different methods; Create and maintain up to date documentation on SharePoint functionality and common tasks geared toward employee audience stored in a central knowledge repository; Develop system documentation, user operations procedures and training materials and deliver both formal and informal user training as required in conjunction with Churchie Human Resources team; Engage with business stakeholders to identify business process improvement opportunities; Partner with business stakeholder groups to understand, guide and support the adoption of new or updated system enhancements. Information Security Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, integrity and availability regarding Information Security for Churchie information assets contained within the platform. Projects Work with the Operations/Project Manager Technology and other stakeholders on projects and other IT related initiatives. From time to time additional duties may be required by the ICT Director. Qualifications SELECTION CRITERIA 1. Certification in current SharePoint Enterprise version or equivalent experience. 2. Undergraduate qualifications in technology, information systems or other related discipline or equivalent experience. 3. Eligible to work in Australia and possess (or be eligible to obtain) a current Blue Card. Knowledge and Skills Technical and/or professional information needed to successfully perform the job activities. 1. Microsoft Office suite of products. 2. Emerging technology trends as related to SharePoint, Blackboard and Enterprise Content Management. 3. General user requirements. 4. Current SharePoint Enterprise versions. 5. SharePoint administration in an enterprise environment. 6. Training documentation. 7. SharePoint Designer. 8. Office Web Apps Server Records management practices and procedures. Experience 1. Demonstrated experience in a similar role. 2. Extensive experience in the establishment of processes and controls into existing SharePoint environments. 3. Experience in gathering and translating business requirements, reviewing and recommending as appropriate, changes to processes and procedures and/or technology enhancements that will increase efficiency and productivity. 4. Experience participating in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new SharePoint based initiatives (Upgraded Versions, Third-Party Solutions, and Integration with additional Enterprise Systems). 5. Experience developing and maintaining a professional and supportive reputation for technology within a dynamic and fast paced business. 6. Experience in an IT service focused environment preferably within the education sector.

Desired experience 7. Experience with Blackboard 9.0 LMS or equivalent 8. Experience with SQL Server Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) 9. Experience with Document Management, 3rd party workflow tools and Microsoft Infopath. 10. Experience configuring and optimising SharePoint for mobile user experience 11.
