The post shows up on the main activity feed for all users of the app to see. Other users can like your status or make a comment on it. What should you post? Remember that this app is specifically for GFWC Members therefore you should only post about GFWC related topics. Good examples of what to post could include information about a fundraiser you re holding, your recent experiences at your last Board of Directors Meeting, how much money your club recently raised for a specific cause, etc. You should refrain from posting any personal matters or topics that do not relate to GFWC activities (i.e. work or political related topics). *Photo/Information Use Disclaimer: One of the main reasons GFWC Headquarters has developed this app is to keep up-to-date with what our members are doing in their own clubs and be able to bring attention to the great work that is being done across the GFWC Membership. This feature of the app should be used only during Convention. 4.3. Navigation Bar To see the navigation, click on the top left icon (three lines as seen in Section 4.1). No matter what page you are on, you should always be able to see this icon. This is where you will find all of the sections of the app. At the very top of the navigation bar is your name, click here to access your User Profile. To learn more about the features of your User Profile, please visit Section 4.4. 4.3 Next to your name is a blue box with a white number in it, click here to access your Notifications. These highlighted sections where the most interaction occurs on the app. To learn more about these sections, please visit Section 5. 4.4. User Profile To view your user profile, access the navigation menu using the top left icon (three lines) on the main page. The top of the navigation menu will have your name in a black bar. Click here to access your profile (As Seen in Section 4.3). Settings At the top of your User Profile, there is a gear icon that allows you to access your settings. This allows you to make small customizations to the app such as what notifications you receive and other general features. You can also find further support via DoubleDutch in this section. 4.4 Notifications Next to the Settings Icon is a Bell Icon. These are your Notifications. To learn more about the Notifications feature, please visit Section 4.5 Edit Profile Click the Edit Profile box to edit your profile. Here you can add/change your name, title, and company. Since this app is specifically for GFWC members, we recommend you putting your officer position in the title field and your Club or State Federation in the company field. Linking your Social Media Accounts - You can also link your other social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook) to this app. This allows you to share to external social networks directly from the app. You can do this by clicking on the respective Social Media Icons either under Edit Profile or on the main page of your User Profile. *Further explanation on posting the user profile is continued on the next page Page 11 of 14

About The GFWC app is gamified, meaning the more you use the app, the more points and achievements you get. Click the About section in your profile to see your achievements on the app. The more active you are, the more achievements and points you receive. Click View All to see all of the possible achievements you can complete. 4.4 Activity - The Activity section of your profile will show you all posts made by you. It is different from the general activity section because it does not show anyone else s posts or posts made by GFWC Headquarters. Network The people you have added to your Network should be those you want to easily access or want to network with the most. Whenever someone from your network posts on the app, you will receive a notification. Adding Users to your Network: To add someone, click on their name through a post they have made or search them using the search bar On the top right of their profile, there is an icon with a plus sign. Click on this icon to add the user. They will now appear on your network list. Messaging other users You can message other users by clicking the Send Message button on their profile. Messages will go straight to the email they have on record with the app. Messages may end up in your Junk/Spam Folder so be sure you are regularly checking those folders for messages. Page 12 of 14

4.5. Notifications You will receive notifications whenever the app needs to alert you about activities related to you (i.e. someone likes your post, someone comments on your post, etc.) or when someone in your Network makes a post. You can customize your notifications through the Settings tab on your User Profile. There are two ways to access the notifications tab: You can access your notifications by navigating to your profile, where you will see a number in the top right that indicates your current notifications. Tap that number and you will be taken to all your notifications. You can also access your notifications in the navigation menu and then view the number of notifications in the top right. Tap that number and you will be taken to all your notifications. 5. Highlighted Navigation Features In the navigation, there are 4 items highlighted in grey. These sections are where the most interaction occurs on the app. Activity Feed (Main Page) The activity feed shows all of the posts made by the users as well as any promoted posts we would like to make. This is also the main page of the app. Photo Feed The photo feed shows all of the photo posts made by the users Bookmarks Shows all of the pages you have bookmarked throughout the app. This is a great feature which allows users to keep track of the pages that are most important or relevant to them. For example, if you are the communications chairman, you may want to bookmark all of the communications committee members, the communications projects, etc. Leaderboards The GFWC app is gamified, meaning the more you use the app, the more points you get. We would like to eventually use this as an incentive for clubwomen to download and use the app. 6.
