1 USING THE LUMI SHOW EVENT APP SAMRA 2014

2 Welcome This guide will walk you through how to access the SAMRA 2014 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

3 SECTION 1: THE APP DOWNLOAD

4 Before you begin with this guide, please ensure that you have downloaded the app from your relevant app Store. Lumi SHOW supports Android and ios devices. If you are using a BlackBerry or Windows Phone refer to the Web login section.

5 Option 1: THE EVENT DOWNLOAD QR CODE SCAN

6 First start up the application. You should see a screen that looks similar to this

7 Once the app finishes its start up you should find a page that looks like this.

8 There are two ways to access the event. The first Click on SCAN

9 Scan the QR Code shown here

10 You will be taken to an event download page with a description of the event. Click DOWNLOAD

11 You will then be taken to a screen where the event app will download. Wait for the download to complete, select the event and refer to the next section of this guide.

12 Option 2: THE EVENT DOWNLOAD EVENT ID

13 There are two ways to access the event. The second way select EVENT ID

14 You will be prompted to enter an Event ID Enter: samra2014 and select FIND

15 You will be taken to an event download page with a description of the event. Click DOWNLOAD

16 You will then be taken to a screen where the event app will download. Wait for the download to complete, select the event and refer to the next section of this guide.

17 SECTION 2: THE EVENT DOWNLOAD MOBILE WEB

18 If you have a device that doesn t support the app version of Lumi SHOW, then you need to use the Mobile Web Version

19 To access the Web Version of the event app, start by opening your relevant web browser and entering the address:

20 select EVENT ID

21 You will be prompted to enter an Event ID Enter: samra2014 and select VIEW EVENT

22 You will be shown an event details screen. Click on download.

23 You will then be taken to a screen where the event app will appear. Select the event and refer to the next section of this guide.

24 SECTION 3: HOW IT WORKS!

25 Select My Profile and edit your profile accordingly. Also select whether you would like to have your details private and whether you would like the ability to be messaged as well as message other delegates during the conference.

26 The next icon is the Activity Feed icon. This Module will show you what's coming up next, the event twitter feed or anything that may be of interest during the event Keep a close eye on this module as announcements will be posted to the feed.

27 The next icon is the Schedule icon. This module will show you the Agenda, as well as who the presenter will be per session and any relevant documents for that session can be found here.

28 The next icon is the Speaker icon. Use this module to get a look at who will be presenting during the conference and their bio and in what sessions the will be presenting.

29 The next icon is the Attendees icon. This module will show you a list of delegates attending the conference.

30 The next icon is the Messaging icon. Use this module to message other delegates privately as long as they have opted into the messaging on their profile.

31 The next icon is the Documents icon. This module has all the relevant documents for the event.

32 The next icon is the My Briefcase icon. Save all your favourite documents to the My Briefcase module and e- mail links to those documents to yourself.

33 The next icon is the My Notes icon. Create notes that you can to yourself during the conference so that you don t forget those quick ideas.

34 The next icon is the Surveys icon. Use this module to complete the evaluations of all the papers that will be presented throughout the conference. You can only complete each rating once.

35 The next icon is the Sponsors icon. Use this module to have a look at our sponsors and get their details.

36 The next icon is the Gallery icon. Use this module to take interesting photos of the conference and load them up to the gallery for all to see and to see everyone else's photo submissions.

37 The next icon is the Speak Out icon. Use this module to post messages to a message board where all the delegates can see the messages.
