3 1. Mobile Banking using the People s Choice iphone and Android Apps. The internet banking functionality of the iphone and Android Apps is only available to People s Choice Credit Union members. The Android App is available from the Google Play Store and the iphone App from the App Store on your smartphone, simply search for People s Choice Credit Union. You can also download the App from our website If you are registered for Internet Banking you will automatically be registered for Mobile Banking. Using the People s Choice App you can: Locate the nearest branch or ATM Contact us Access our website Login to our secure banking site to : Check your account balances View your transaction history Perform financial transfers Pay a bill using BPAY Mobile Banking FAQs are available on our website by going to faq/#mobile-banking 3

4 2. The home screen. The home screen is the first screen that displays after opening the App. By default, the screen allows easy access to your accounts; BPAY and Pay Anyone by simply tapping the required function and entering your four digit security PIN (refer to Section 4 - Registering a four digit security PIN) or using Touch ID authentication (refer to Section 5 - Enabling/disabling Touch ID). The home screen provides the ability to access our website, locate our branches and ATMs and to Contact Us by tapping the appropriate icon on the screen. To access additional functionality tap on the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner or slide the home screen to the right and select the required function from the available list. You can also customise the home screen by holding down on one of the boxes and selecting the feature you d like to display, e.g. to show a different transfer option instead of BPAY, hold down on the BPAY box and select your preferred option from the available list. 4

5 Android iphone 3. Locating your nearest Branch or ATM and Contact Us. To locate your nearest ATM, select the button with the ATM icon on the home screen. To locate the nearest branch, select the button with the branch on the home screen. You can also use the Locate Us function by tapping on the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner of any screen and selecting Locate Us. To Contact Us, tap on the envelope or phone handset icon from the home screen, or select Call Us or Contact Us from the hamburger menu in the top left corner of the home screen. 5

6 To view the details of a branch, select the green branch icon on the map. Similarly, to view the details of an ATM, select the red ATM icon on the map Android iphone 6

8 4. Registering a four digit security PIN. When you first log in using your People s Choice App, you will be prompted to register a four digit security PIN. You will be required to enter your Member number, Internet Banking password and Device name and a new four digit security PIN. If the details are valid you will be required to accept the Terms and Conditions to complete the registration process. If you have forgotten your Internet Banking password, click on the Forgotten your password? link at the bottom of the screen, you will be directed to the People s Choice Internet Banking Password Reset website page. Follow the on screen instructions to reset your Internet Banking password. Once you have successfully reset your Internet Banking password you can continue to register your four digit security PIN. Subsequent log ins using your registered device will only require entering the four digit security PIN, or if you are using an iphone and have opted to use Touch ID use your fingerprint to authenticate. If you would like to register a different membership you can do this by tapping the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner and selecting Settings and Terms then Forgot PIN. Only one membership can be registered to your People s Choice App. Android 8

9 iphone If your iphone has Touch ID available and enabled you will have the option of using Touch ID (fingerprint) to log in when you register the device. 9

10 5. Enabling/disabling Touch ID (fingerprint) authentication - iphone only. If your iphone has Touch ID capabilities you can enable or disable fingerprint authentication at any time. To enable or disable Touch ID authentication tap the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner of the screen and select Settings and Terms then enable Touch ID. For security reasons if you are not logged into the App you will need to authenticate before you can enable or disable Touch ID. The Touch ID information screen is displayed with the Touch ID toggle button, to enable Touch ID, slide the toggle button to the right (green) and to disable Touch ID slide the toggle button to the left (grey). 10

12 After you have enabled or disabled Touch ID and you are logged in to the App, select the hamburger menu icon in the top left of the screen and select an option from the main menu to continue. Alternatively, if you have enabled or disabled Touch ID and you are not logged in to the App, tap on the back button in the top left corner. The Enter PIN screen will be displayed, to continue tap on the hamburger menu icon and select an option from the main menu. Note: if Touch ID is enabled you can still opt to log in using the four digit security PIN by selecting Cancel when prompted to authenticate. 6. Checking account balances and details. Android: To view all your accounts and balances, select the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner of the home screen, select Accounts then tap on the displayed account for all your accounts and balances to be displayed. Alternatively, select the account that is displayed on the home screen and then tap on the displayed account. 12

13 To view additional account information, tap on the information icon in the top right corner of the screen. 13

14 iphone: To scroll through all of your accounts, slide the cards to the left or right. To view additional account information, tap on the information icon in the top right corner of the card. You can reorder the display of your accounts by scrolling left through your accounts to the function Change the order of my accounts then by tapping anywhere within the box to display the list of your accounts. To change the display order press down on the hamburger icon next to the right of the account you want to reorder and move the account to the required position. 14

15 7. Viewing your transaction history. To view the transactions for an account: Android: To view transactions for an account, select the account for which you want to view transactions by tapping the account displayed and then selecting the required account. Once the required account is displayed you can slide up and down to scroll through the transactions. Tap on the magnifying glass in the top right corner of the Accounts screen to view Debits or Credits only and/or transactions containing a specific word. To select a different account, tap the account displayed and all your accounts will be displayed then tap on the account you want to view transactions from. 15

16 iphone: To view the transactions for an account scroll left and right through the accounts to the account you wish to view transactions. The transactions for the account are displayed below the account details, slide up and down to scroll through transactions. Tap on the magnifying glass if you wish to only view the Debits or Credits on an account. 16

17 8. Transfer money between your People s Choice accounts. To transfer money between your People s Choice accounts, select the hamburger menu icon left corner, then select the Transfer option from menu. in the top To select the accounts you wish to transfer from and to: Android: To change the accounts you wish to transfer from and to, tap on the from or to account and then tap the required account from the available list. Enter a description and the amount you wish to transfer and once ready to transfer, tap the green Pay now button and follow the prompts to confirm payment. To print or send a receipt of your transfer once completed tap the green Share button in the top right corner on the payment confirmation screen and select your sending option. 17

18 iphone: Slide the cards to the left to make your selection. Select the Pay icon in the middle of the screen. Enter the amount you wish to transfer together with a transfer description and once ready to transfer, tap the green circle in the middle and follow the prompts to confirm payment. To cancel the payment tap anywhere outside the green circle. To print or send a receipt of your transfer tap the send icon in the top right corner on the payment confirmation screen and select your sending option. 18

19 9. Transfer money to another People s Choice membership. To transfer money to another People s Choice membership, select the hamburger menu icon top left corner and then select Pay Member. Android: in the Tap anywhere on the displayed account to select a different account to transfer from. Enter the amount you wish to transfer along with the transfer details then tap the green Pay Now button at the bottom of the screen and follow the prompts to confirm payment. If you have transferred to this membership before and saved the details in your favourites, tap on the person icon in the top right side to select the transfer details from your favourites list. If you would like to save a new payee, select the Save Payee check box. To print or send a receipt of your transfer once completed tap the green Share button in the top right hand corner on the payment confirmation screen and select your sending option. 19

If you have transferred to this membership before and saved the Payee details in your favourites list, tap on the person icon on the right side to select the transfer details from your favourites list. If you would like to save a new payee, select the Save Payee Details check box on the confirmation screen. 20

22 10. Transfer money to other Financial Institutions. To transfer money to other Financial Institutions, select the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner and then select Pay Anyone. Alternatively, select the Pay Anyone icon from the home screen. Android: Tap anywhere on the account displayed to select a different account to transfer from. Enter the amount you wish to transfer along with the BSB number, account number, Payee name and optional . Once ready to transfer tap the green Pay Now button and follow the prompts to confirm payment. If you have transferred to this Financial Institution before and saved the payee details in your favourites, tap on the person icon in the top right to select the transfer details from your favourites list. If you would like to save a new payee, select the Save Payee check box. To print or send a receipt of your transfer once completed tap the green Share button in the top right corner of the payment confirmation screen and select your sending option. 22

Enter the amount you wish to transfer along with the account name, BSB number, account number and optional transfer details. Once ready to transfer tap the green circle in the middle and follow the prompts to confirm payment. To cancel the payment tap anywhere outside the green circle. If you have transferred to this BSB and Account number before and saved the payee details in your favourites, tap on the person icon on the right to select the transfer details from your favourites list. If you would like to save a new payee, select the Save Payee Details check box on the confirmation screen. To print or send a receipt of your transfer tap the send icon sending option. in the top right corner and select your 23

24 11. Pay a bill using BPAY To pay a bill using BPAY, select the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner and then select the BPAY option from the menu. Alternatively, select the BPAY icon on the home screen. Android: Tap anywhere on the account displayed to select a different account to transfer from. Enter the amount you wish to transfer along with the biller code and reference number. Once ready to make the payment, tap the green Pay Now button and follow the prompts to confirm. If you have made a BPAY payment to this biller before and saved the details in your favourites, tap on the person icon in the top right to select the details from your favourites list. If you would like to save a new biller, select the Save Payee check box. To print or send a receipt of your Payment once completed tap the green Share button top right corner on the payment confirmation screen and select your sending option. in the 24

25 iphone: Slide the card to the left to select the account you wish to transfer from. Enter the amount you wish to transfer along with the biller code, reference number and optional description. Once ready to make the payment tap the green circle in the middle and follow the prompts to confirm. To cancel the payment or make changes to the payee details tap anywhere outside of the green circle. If you have made a BPAY payment to this biller before and saved the Payee details in your favourites, tap on the person icon on the right to select the details from your favourites list. If you would like to save a new biller, select the Save Payee Details check box on the confirmation screen. To print or send a receipt of your transfer tap the send icon confirmation screen and select your sending option. 25 in the top right corner on the payment

26 12. Pay Easy Payments. Our Pay Easy Payment feature allows you to make a payment to a person using that person s address or mobile phone number. Pay Easy Payments can only be made: by using our Mobile Banking application: and to a person with an account with an Australian Financial Institution. To make a Pay Easy Payment using your People s Choice App, select the hamburger menu in the top left corner and then select Pay Easy from the left-hand menu. Once selected, the Pay Easy Payment options will appear. Android: To change the account, tap the account displayed and select the required account from the list of accounts. Enter either the or Mobile details (of the person who will receive the payment) to start the payment process. You can select the or Mobile details from your phone contacts by tapping on the contacts icon. 26

27 When all the details have been entered, select the Pay Now button. Please check all details are correct on the confirmation screen before you tap the green Confirm button to make the payment. If you do need to make any changes tap anywhere outside the Confirm button and re-enter the details. 27

28 Once the payment has been made, a receipt screen will be displayed along with a Payment Code. The recipient of your Pay Easy Payment will be sent a notification either via SMS or (depending on how you entered their details) with the Pay Easy Redemption site address. You will need to send the recipient the Payment Code before they can collect their payment. To send the Payment Code, tap the green Share button at the bottom of the screen and select your sending option, e.g. or SMS. iphone: Select either the or Mobile Field to start the Pay Easy Payment process. You can either enter the recipients details in the space provided or select directly from your Contacts by tapping on the plus button. Once the plus button is selected, your Contacts list will appear. Select the recipient s name and either their mobile number or address details which will then populate into the relevant field in the App. 28

29 When all the details have been entered the text will appear in grey, then select the Pay circle button. Please check all details are correct on the confirmation screen before you tap the green Pay circle button to make the Payment. If you do need to make any changes tap anywhere outside the green circle and re-enter the details. 29

30 Once the payment has been made, a receipt screen will be displayed along with a Payment Code. The recipient of your Pay Easy Payment will be sent a notification either via SMS or (depending on how you entered their details) with the Pay Easy Redemption site address. You will need to send the recipient the Payment Code before they can collect their payment. To send this Payment Code select the message or button screen. located at the bottom of the 13. Viewing your uncollected Pay Easy Payments. Tap on the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner. If you have any uncollected Pay Easy Payments, the number will be displayed against the Pay Easy menu item. 30

32 14. Cancelling Pay Easy Payments. Android: Once the summary is displayed, select and hold down the transaction you would like to cancel. Tap Yes to confirm. 32

33 Once the payment has been cancelled, the uncollected Pay Easy Payment summary screen will be updated. iphone: Once the summary is displayed on the Pay Easy Transfers screen, tap the trash icon Tap on the red circle icon for the uncollected Pay Easy Payment you d like to cancel and tap Cancel transfer 33

34 Before the payment can be cancelled you ll be prompted to confirm the cancellation. 34

35 Once the payment has been cancelled, the uncollected Pay Easy Payment summary screen will be updated. Please refer to our Pay Easy Payment Collection Guide on our website for more information. 35

36 15. Forgot PIN or change PIN. If you have forgotten your four digit security PIN or locked your device, tap on the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner. Android: Select Forgot PIN from the menu and follow the prompts to re-register a new four digit security PIN or select Change PIN to change your PIN. 36

37 iphone: Select Settings and Terms then Forgot PIN from the menu on the left. Follow the prompts to re-register a new four digit security PIN or select Change PIN to change your PIN. 16. Logging out of the People s Choice App. To logout of the People s Choice App, simply press the Logout icon in the top right corner from anywhere within the App. To access account information from the home screen again, you will be prompted to authenticate. If you close the App by clicking the home key your session will remain active for 90 seconds. 37
