2 ABOUT THE ELLUCIAN GO MOBILE APPLICATION The Ellucian Go Mobile application allows students with iphones and Android smartphones to view their grades and schedules. The mobile application also provides access to the Colleague faculty directory (including full-time faculty, adjuncts and advisors.) Other features of the Ellucian Go Mobile application are feeds for the latest campus news, the campus calendar and a directory of important numbers and contact information. The Ellucian Go Mobile application is available for free in the itunes store (for iphone users) and in the Google Play store (for Android users.) The application is not available for any version of Windows Phone or Blackberry. It also will not install on Windows, Macintosh or Linux desktops or laptops. INSTALLATION To install the application, you must download the application from your app store. Search for Ellucian Go in the app store for your brand of phone (itunes for iphone users, Google Play for Android owners.) iphone owners will be prompted for their itunes username and password before the Ellucian Go Mobile Application will install. Also, users may also be prompted to allow the Ellucian Go Mobile application to access location information and the local storage on their phones.

3 USING ELLUCIAN GO The Ellucian Go Mobile Application works on both iphones and Android smartphones. Once you have installed the application, a new icon will appear:

4 Click on the icon to run the application and open the selection screen for the Ellucian Go Mobile application. The first time you run the application, you will be presented with a selection of schools. Begin typing Tusculum College into the search bar at the top of the screen and select Tusculum College when it appears in the list. (Normally, you need only type the first four letters of Tusculum into the search.) Type Tusculum in the Search bar The application will remember your selection for subsequent logins, so you will not have to select Tusculum College again. Note: Do not select any of the other schools in the list. You will only be able to use the Tusculum College version of the Ellucian Go Mobile application.

5 Once you find and select Tusculum College, the start screen will load. Depending on your network connection, the load time for the start screen will vary.

6 Click on the Sign In prompt on the start screen. The mobile application uses the same username and password as WebAdvisor. For students, this is your Tusculum computer lab username and password. (Android users should note that selecting Stay signed in may not always keep you logged into the Ellucian Go Mobile application. You may be prompted to login when you start the application each time.)

7 Once you have logged into the application, you ll return to the Tusculum start screen and should click on the Home menu in the upper left of the screen. The Home menu will appear: View the latest events from the campus calendar. View news and highlights feed from the Tusculum website. View important contact information for different departments at Tusculum. View a calendar listing of your class schedule by term. View a listing of your grades by class and by term. Search and find contact information for faculty and advisors. Return to the Tusculum College start screen. Contact information and links for Tusculum College. Return to the listing of all schools. Note: only the Tusculum College version of Return Ellucian to the Go will listing work of for all Tusculum schools. Note: College only students. the Tusculum College version of s Ellucian for Tusculum Go will College work for Tusculum College students. Sign out of Ellucian Go. Return to the Tusculum College start screen.

8 ELLUCIAN GO SCREENS & ACTIVITIES There are very few differences between the iphone and Android versions of the Ellucian Go Mobile application. The screenshots and examples provided below are from both Android and iphones, and any differences will be noted. CAMPUS NEWS AND CAMPUS CALENDER The campus news and campus calendar screens of the Ellucian Go Mobile application display the news and calendar feeds from the Tusculum website:

9 IMPORTANT NUMBERS The Important Numbers screen displays the contact information for various departments at Tusculum College. You can touch the department name to see more details about each department.

10 FACULTY DIRECTORY The Ellucian Go Mobile application provides access to directory and contact information for full-time faculty, instructors and advisors at the College. Enter the name (or last name) of the person for whom you are searching. The application will return a list of names and their campus contact information.

11 COURSES AND SCHEDULES Students may view their class schedules using the Ellucian Go Mobile application. From the main menu, click on My Courses. The DAILY SCHEDULE screen will appear. To view the Full Schedule for the current term, click on FULL SCHEDULE, and the schedule for the entire term will display. Click on DAILY SCHEDULE to switch the screen to the daily view. NOTE: Faculty and Advisors cannot use the Ellucian Go Mobile Application to view the schedule for their advisees. The mobile application will display the schedule to the student only.

12 CHECKING GRADES Students may use the Ellucian Go Mobile application to view their grades by term. Again, the mobile application functions similar to WebAdvisor, and students will be prompted for the term. The mobile application will present a list of terms in which grades exist and have already been migrated into the new system. Click the term and the section name and grade will appear. NOTE: Faculty and Advisors cannot use the Ellucian Go Mobile Application to view grades for their advisees. The mobile application will display the student s grades only to the student.
