Meeting Rates & Layouts The Coliseum Functions Suite is the ideal business meeting and conference venue. With the outstanding Coliseum Suite, stunning first floor Conservatory or the spacious Cromwell Suite, there is a venue for every need. We also have Wi-Fi Broadband Internet available in all areas of the Hotel Conference facilities and accommodation. From the exquisite Coliseum Suite which can comfortably seat 30 people for a boardroom or 50 in theatre style to 90 for a cocktail reception to the more relaxed private meeting are at the upstairs Conservatory. The Cromwell offers a further 30 conference delegate seats to add to the flexibility of the Grand Hotel. Exclusive use of The Grand Hotel can be arranged on request. FULL DAY DELEGATE RATE FROM 25 PER PERSON The full day rate applies for a full day conference. It includes use of the meeting room, coffee/tea on arrival, second serving of coffee/tea with biscuits, mineral water, cordials, sweets, a fruit bowl in the conference room, screen and flipchart, and buffet lunch and a selection of afternoon teas and biscuits. 24 HOUR RATE FROM 99 PER PERSON The 24 hour rate includes the full day rate package and also accommodation and dinner. The exquisite bedrooms range from our Club Bedrooms, ideal for VIP s, to more the modern design of our Executive bedrooms. Dinner can be taken as a group or individually in our restaurant. HALF DAY DELEGATE RATE FROM 16 PER PERSON The half day rate is for a maximum of four hours, typically a morning or afternoon meeting. It includes use of the meeting room, coffee/tea on arrival, second serving of coffee/tea with biscuits, mineral water, cordials, sweets, screen and flipchart and buffet lunch. Coliseum Functions Suite The Coliseum Functions Suite and Marble Bar (inset) is located at The Grand Hotel, comprising a series of period Victorian townhouse buildings along Warwick Road and Waverley Road which have been elegantly restored to its original grandeur. On the ground floor Coliseum Restaurant occupies the central body of the building with Corinthian columns on fluted pillars, ornate cornices, exquisite chandeliers and a rich and traditional décor. The Coliseum Suite has its own private marble bar and can also be used in conjunction with the conservatory.

Conservatory & Cromwells Suite First floor Conservatory Cromwells Suite on the Waverley Wing The Conservatory on the first floor is simply spectacular and is superb for drinks and canapés reception, informal meeting or private dinner party. An unusual first floor conservatory was set on the centre of the first floor right overlooking a fantastic garden view. This stunning conservatory is used by guests as a meeting area as well as fantastic lounge to enjoy a drink or two while enjoying the large plasma screen. If you are looking for the "WOW" factor, both venues overlook landscaped gardens and fountain making it an ideal venue for corporate and social events, weddings and conferences. Enjoy a Fantastic landscaped garden view from the stunning conservatory. The garden is used for summer dining, barbecues, and recently as a venue for their Annual General Meeting, by the BTA!! Cromwells, housed within the Waverley Wing of the hotel is regularly used for boardroom meetings and evening receptions. Guests can lunch or dine at Coliseum and later enjoy entertainment and dancing in Cromwells Suite with a fine selection of beers and wines in the Cromwells Bar. Cromwells can also be used as a breakout room for larger conferences.
