After-School Classes will run for 4 weeks- October 20- November 19th. Register online by Monday, October 12th. The following after school classes will be offered by the PTA to the students to enrich and extend their education. A few classes also have an additional material fee which is included in the cost of the class. The material fee will go directly to purchase supplies for that class. Please make note of the dates and requirements that each class is offered as some require previous experience or are grade specific. Your child must currently be in that grade level to attend a grade level specific class. All classes will run 3:30-4:30p. You will be responsible for picking up your child promptly at the end of the class We will need a separate registration form for EACH child NOT each class. After registering you can pay online via paypal or by check. If paying by check please make checks payable to "Peebles PTA", include your student's name and invoice number on the memo line and send in an envelope marked After-School classes. Some classes have a minimum or maximum enrollment. Classes will be filled on a first come - first served basis. If a class gets filled or does not have enough children registered, you will be notified and your payment returned by Friday October 16th. Tuesday Classes will meet on Oct 20 & 27, November 10 & 17 TWO Parties in ONE! Painting and Duct Taping Grades K-5 Description: Peebles Painting with a Twist and Duct Taping Away are two parties in one! Come enjoy two weeks of painting like an artist on your own canvas creating the most beautiful masterpieces. The other two weeks we will use duct taping to make wallets, belts, ipod holders, and more! It s sure to be a class you ll be quackin about! Do you love to play with Shopkins? Do you love to play with Mrs. Bjalobok and Miss Moots? Well we like to play with you. This class will offer fun with your friends while constructing your favorite Legos and/or playing with your Shopkins. We will be using everyday household items and craft items to make beautiful jewelry that can be worn to show off your fashion sense! Students will be making jewelry from beads to gems to string. Tuesday Classes continued. Rollerblading Grades 2-5 Class Description: Get a chance to Rollerblade and play games on your rollerblades in the Peebles gym. Activities may include Roller ball (handball on skates), Roller Hockey, Inline individual and relay races, Limbo, and Four corners. Class Sponsor: Mr. Christopher Jackson chjackson@northallegheny.org This class will meet in: The Gym Fee: $25 Minimum Amount of Students: 10 Maximum Amount of Students: 30 Grades this is Available to: Grades 3-5 (2 nd grade students could come if they have their own skates) contact me with questions Special Notes: You NEED to bring your own helmet, however protective wear, and Rollerblades are provided for you if you do not have your own.

Wednesday Classes Will meet on October 21 & 28, November 11 & 18 Wacky Science Grades K-5 Description: Calling all scientists!!! Join Mrs. Cornell and Mrs. Lewis for four wild and wacky weeks of science experiments! We will be creating rubber flubber, creating catapults and launching marshmallows, enjoying delicious homemade ice cream, and designing tie dye t-shirts! Get ready for a wild and wonderful time! Class Sponsor: Mrs. Cornell and Mrs. Lewis (Belz) This class will meet in: 5B Fee: $25 + $15 material fee = $40 Maximum Amount of Students: no max Grades this is Available to: Grades K-5 American Girl Fashion 101 Grades K-5 Description: Do you enjoy playing with your American Girl (or other 18 ) Doll? Do you enjoy fashion? Are you creative and crafty? If so, then this class is for you! We will be crafting clothes that may include a shirt, a skirt, a backpack, a poncho, a swim suit and wrap for your doll. So grab your favorite doll, get a friend, and join this class. Some of the games may include, Sharks and Minnows, Pirate ships, Crossfire, Star Wars, Castle ball, Bingo Bowling, ball games, Tag games and activities chosen/voted on by the participants. Thursday Classes Will Meet October 22 & 29, November 12 & 19 MINECRAFT MANIA! Grades K-5 Description: Join Mrs. Bjalobok, Mrs. Cornell, and other MINECRAFT friends in helping to create new worlds! This class requires all students to bring his/her own device to utilize the MINE- CRAFT game. You can purchase the game at www.minecraft.net ahead of time or play the free demo version. If you are purchasing the game, be sure to complete this process by downloading it at home to the device you will be using during the class. Students will be able to work with their friends on their individual device. If our Wi-Fi is installed during this time, students will be able to share MINECRAFT worlds with each other. Each week, this class will have a MINECRAFT mission with a raffle at the end of each class. Let s get busy creating new worlds together! We will be making crafts and doing projects inspired by the one and only PINTEREST! These creations are perfect for anyone who likes to do some hands-on crafting and designing especially during the fall season!
