Nurse Practitioners: Promoting a Healthy Future Conference overview Minnesota Nurse Practitioners (MNNP) cordially invite you to attend our 3 rd Annual Conference. This conference kicks off National Nurse Practitioner week and is an opportunity for nurse practitioners, students and faculty to gather. There will be a pre- conference complementary dinner and CE program on Friday, November 11, and the 3 rd Annual Conference on Saturday, November 12 which includes a general session, poster session and an exhibit hall. Conference registration is available on our website with best rates through November 1. A block of rooms have been reserved for MNNP until October 21. The MNNP Members Annual Business Meeting follows the conference. We have an exciting program planned. Educational objectives Following the conference the participants should be able to: Apply strategies to evaluate, treat and monitor refractory hypertension. Outline factors affecting sleep, impact of sleep disorders and methods to achieve restorative sleep. Identify options for nurse practitioner owned/managed practice settings. Describe current barriers to APRN practice in Minnesota and be familiar with APRN Coalition initiatives. This program is pending CE approval with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, however, each participant must judge if appropriate for their regulatory body.
