ABSTRACT SELECTION PROCESS Lecture and poster abstracts presented at DDW were chosen based on reviews and grading of abstracts by independent reviewers. The abstracts were blinded during the review and grading process. Approximately 75 percent of abstracts submitted were accepted for presentation; these abstracts are from the U.S. and more than 70 other countries, and will be presented at the meeting. All accepted abstracts were published in supplements in the April 2015 issue of Gastroenterology (AASLD, AGA Institute and SSAT abstracts) or the April 2015 issue of GIE: Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE abstracts). The abstract submission process for DDW 2016 in San Diego begins in October 2015 and ends at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Dec. 1, Visit for continued updates. You may access this system to print your CME certificate or certificate of attendance in one of two ways: 1. On site at the dedicated CME kiosks in WCC, Hall A. You will need your DDW name badge. The online service is available through Nov. 30, CME STATEMENTS FOR THE DDW SPONSORING SOCIETIES AASLD CME Statement The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The AASLD designates these live activities for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. AASLD Statement on Disclosure The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) is committed to ensuring balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor in its sponsored and jointly provided educational activities. Individuals in a position to control the content of an AASLD-sponsored activity (program planners, course directors, speakers, etc.) are expected to disclose to the audience all relevant relationships. When an unlabeled use of a commercial product, or an investigational use not yet approved for any purpose is discussed during an educational activity, the speaker shall disclose to the audience that the product is not labeled for the use under discussion or that the product is still investigational. AASLD will identify and resolve all conflicts of interest prior to program implementation. AGA Institute CME Statement The American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) Institute is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The AGA Institute designates these live educational activities for a maximum of 34.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. In accordance with ACCME s Standards for Commercial Support of Continuing Medical Education, all faculty and planning partners must disclose any financial relationship(s) or other relationship(s) held within the past 12 months. The AGA Institute implements a mechanism to identify and resolve all conflicts of interest prior to delivering the educational activity to learners ASGE CME Statement The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. ASGE designates DDW live educational sessions for a maximum of 31.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim credit only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. ASGE designates credit separately for hands-on and interactive workshops held during DDW as well as the Annual Postgraduate Course. Physicians may claim up to 20.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits for participation in hands-on and interactive sessions ( credits per session) and up to 8.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits for participation in the ASGE Annual Postgraduate Courses. 41

6 ASGE requires all individuals who are in a position to control the content of an educational activity to disclose all relevant financial relationships with any commercial interest, which is any entity producing, marketing, re-selling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients.
