2 Sowa Racing Like the modern day racing car, the sport of motor racing itself has become more sophisticated every year. Today s racing environment requires special design and engineering skills for car builders along with a close attention to detail. The total team effort also requires the skills of mechanics and technicians to keep the cars moving at high speeds and always in the best condition. The final elements to complete today's racing team package are the corporate sponsors and the businesses, communication, and driving skills of a highly professional driver. Increasing the bottom line is the main goal of every corporate sponsor, whether through the racing fan s association with a brand or product, or by on- site entertainment of corporate customers. Every sponsor attempts to increase corporate awareness, and ultimately sales, through positive association to their corporate name. Nearly every industry is involved in racing in some manner. Traditional automotive- related companies, non- profit organizations, financial, internet- based companies as well as consumer packaged goods companies such as breakfast cereal, batteries and film continue to participate in auto racing. The time to get involved with Sowa Racing and Nicholas Sowa is now.

3 Racing Series NASCAR Whelen All-American Series The NASCAR Whelen All- American is a points championship for NASCAR sanctioned local racetracks around the United States and Canada. In the 30 years of NASCAR sanctioning weekly racing for a national championship, the tracks have been split, initially by geographical proximity of the tracks for purposes of developing regional champions, then randomly among four divisions and currently by states that have tracks participating. The NASCAR Whelen All- American Series provides season long NASCAR action to local fans who just cant get enough live racing. It s all about a sense of community, where friends, neighbors, and competitors get together to celebrate the sport they love. American-Canadian Tour The American Canadian Tour (ACT) is a late model stock car racing series based in the northeastern United States, and Quebec, Canada. The American Canadian Tour has two different late model divisions: the ACT Late Model Tour, founded in 1986 conducts races in New York, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine and the La Série ACT, founded in 2005 runs in Quebec, Canada. Waterford Speedbowl Waterford Speedbowl is a 3/8 s mile asphalt oval racetrack located on CT 85 in Waterford, Connecticut just off Interstate 395. It first opened for business on April 15, 1951 as "The New London- Waterford Speed Bowl"; the track has been in continuous operation every season since it initially opened. It has continuously promoted Modified Stock Car Racing as its featured division since its first year of operation. Its current owner & promoter Terry Eames has been the track's promoter since 1995 and has been owner of the facility since It currently operates under NASCAR s Whelen All- American Series banner on Saturday nights from April through October. It also holds family- oriented events such as the Wild N' Wacky Wednesday Series and several Sunday Spectacular events throughout the year.

4 The Car Late Model Stock Car Late model racecars are the highest class of local stock car racing vehicles at many racetracks in the United States. Asphalt late model racing is an extremely common stepping stone for drivers who eventually want to race in NASCAR s top tier series. These cars consist of full fiberglass, steel, and plastic bodies covering a full tubular frame chassis. The engines in these cars are sealed crate engines putting out 350+hp and 400 ft/lbs of torque. There are a variety of makes and models that your car can resemble. Such as Chevrolet SS, Ford Fusion, Dodge Charger and Toyota Camry. Performance Pro Division wins, 13 top 3 division finishes, and 16 top 5 division finishes Connecticut State Champion in Legend Car Young Lion Class. 22 Top 5 division Finishes and 5 Division Wins. Won the Sportsmanship Award and Most Improved Driver Award for the Legend Car Division at Waterford Speedbowl. Finished 20th out of 215 in National Point Standings for Legend Car Young Lion Division. 1 of 49 drivers to be promoted to the premier division of Legend Cars, the Pro Class.

5 Nicholas Sowa Nicholas is a 17 year old racecar driver who is about to start his 10 th year of racing this 2014 season. Over the 9 years of racing he has accumulated over 150 wins and over 100 pole awards. He has also won 8 championships and set numerous track records. 6 Fan Loyalty NASCAR is the #1 major U.S. Sport in fan brand loyalty to sponsors. 3 out of 4 NASCAR regional/local series fans indicate they are very familiar with companies that sponsor NASCAR and its drivers. 2 out of 3 NASCAR regional/local series fans indicate they can relate to NASCAR drivers in a way they cannot relate to other athletes. 2 out of 3 NASCAR regional/local series fans associate NASCAR as being fun. 3 out of 5 NASCAR regional/local series fans indicate they feel loyal to NASCAR sponsors and purchase their products/services because of their involvement in the sport. 3 out of 5 NASCAR regional/local series fans agree that during tough economic times, they will continue to support NASCAR sponsors more than other brands because of the commitment they show to the sport. 3 out of 5 NASCAR regional/local series fans associate NASCAR as being open to all, family friendly, having a good public image, and easy to relate to. 3 out of 5 NASCAR regional/local series fans indicate they support NASCAR sponsors more than they support sponsors of other sports. Half of all NASCAR regional/local series fans indicate they always participate in NASCAR sponsors promotions, such as sweepstakes, coupons, mail- to- win, etc. Half of all NASCAR regional/local series fans indicate they always buy products or services from companies that sponsor NASCAR.

7 Exposure Write- ups and Pictures of the Late Model Racing at the Waterford Speedbowl are often featured in many of the area newspapers and other regional racing newspapers along with being featured on online racing articles. Nicholas will often appear on these sites: Other exposure comes from Lung Cancer Alliance. Nicholas is often featured in their ebullitions which are featured on their website and are ed out. Lung Cancer Alliance and Nicholas Sowa partnered up in June of Nicholas has appeared in Boston with his racecar at the Prudential Center for a Lung Cancer Vigil along with other Vigils around Connecticut. With Lung Cancer Alliance s partnership, Nicholas not only has a reach to millions of people within the United States but worldwide. Another form of exposure you get is when Nicholas makes appearances at car shows. Nicholas plans to attend every car show he can display his Late Model. Not only does it grab a lot of attention whenever someone see s a racecar but unlike all the other cars at the shows Nicholas encourages the kids to sit inside and get their pictures taken. Along with that he also signs a hero card (autograph card) and gives it to them. On that hero card displays sponsors, racing info, stats, and ways to reach out and follow Nicholas s racing journey.
