1 Activities and adventure for the whole family! Activ Rådastrand, canoe trip through the unspoiled wilderness. We ll start at one of the beautiful lakes and paddle along a small, winding river which seeks its way right through the forests of Värmland. At the end of our trip, we have reached to the famous river the Klarälven, where we will make a fire so we can cook water for an enjoyable cup of coffee or tea and grill sausages and bread. During the trip, we will even come across some beaver nest and there s a big change you might spot a beaver, a deer, a crane or even a moose! 175 kr p. (child up to 12 year) 300 kr p. If you wish to paddle to other lakes, there s a small river that leads from the Rådalake to the other lakes. If you have your own canoe, we can help you with the transportation, so you can navigate back to the campsite (several daytrips where you will spend the night in a lodge or a shed are also possible). Activ Rådastrand, GPS avontuur After a clear and extensive explanation on how to use a GPS, you will receive an exciting assignment to search for different treasures in the woods. We certainly hope everyone finds the treasures because these are the ingredients we need to make a real Swedish Vildmarksmåltid to finish this stunning day. 2 Activ Rådastrand, Mountainbike-ttrip (min. 12 year) Discover the beautiful surroundings and cycle through the forests with an experienced guide. You will pay a visit at Kärnåsen, a small village with wonderful and original houses from Värmland, located near the Klarälven, in the middle of the woods. At the top of one of the mountains, we stop for a small picknick while enjoying the stunning view over lake Lakene. If you are an experienced biker, we have some great challenges for you in the forests around Bergsäng and Edebäck. takes about a half day. SEK 125, incl. Activ Rådastrand, Mountainbike-trip without a guide There are mountainbike-tours available directly from the campsite which we would like to tell you more about at the reception. We also have mountainbikes and itineraries for rent. Activ Rådastrand, Nature hike with a guide Do you know the difference between a blueberry and a bilberry? Do you know which mushrooms you can eat and which ones better not? We take a beautiful hike directly from the campsite where you will learn everything about the nature around us. After this hike, you will experience nature in a totally different way! During the trip, we stop for a coffee break while listening to rippling water of the Klarälven. If you want, you can take a refreshing dive in this famous river! Takes about 2½ hour Adult: 75 kr. We also have Nordic Walking Poles for rent. Activ Rådastrand, Nordic Walking Clinic (min 12 year) Why not try one of the most popular sports in Europe? Nordic Walking! After an extensive instruction and some basic information about this sport it s time to go into the woods and try it out! We offer you a clinic with an internationally trained instructor so you will be able to learn this new sport in a flawless way. With enough participants, there s even a possibility to train on a daily base. 3 Activ Rådastrand, Kubb-(tournament) (4-104 year) Kubb is a typical Scandinavian game where everyone can participate; young and old. It doesn t really matters how many players there are, but a pleasant group size is between 8 and 16 participants. Tournament: Free Rent a Kubb-game: SEK 20 per hour Activ Rådastrand, wooden raft fishing This is the perfect solution for those families who can t choose between lying on the beach and enjoying the sunny weather, and being out on the water all day long! You can hire your very own motor-wooden raft! On the raft it s possible to fish, sleep, read a book, play a game or enjoying a delicious picknick! It s also possible to rent the raft for several days. 4 Activities & Adventure especially for kids and teenagers Activ Rådastrand, built your own wooden raft Just as former times, when people build rafts with ropes, casks and trunks of trees, we are going to built our very own wooden raft. Of course, we re going to take it for a test trip on the lake. How far we will come? That s totally up to the builders! SEK 100, incl. lemonade and a little snack Ages 6-9 and Activ Rådastrand, Adventure-expedition (ages 7-12) What are we going to do? That s the question! We can tell you this: We ll be in the forest at a riverside where you are going to learn about survivalcompetences, we ll climb on a bridge made of only wood and ropes and we are going to make a campfire. Of course we re going to do some thrilling activities in the woods, but we can t tell you so much more. Our Landrover takes us there and back to the campsite and parents are not allowed! Start at back att kr (incl., vildmarksmåltid, transport) Activ Rådastrand, 2 day Bike-, hike-, canoe challenge (ages 12-17) For those who seek for new, exciting adventures, we have created a special challenge. We start at the campsite and go by mountainbike into the wood which is famous for its high moose- and wolf population. We set up camp in the middle of the beautiful nature and learn more about different styles of clearing water. We also make a campfire were you can cook your own wildlife-dinner. The next day we continue our trip by going on a GPS trip and with the help of our GPS, we have to find the canoes that will bring us back to the campsite. SEK 750 per person, incl. 5 Activ Rådastrand, Älgrally fiddling-afternoon (ages 4-7) Especially for the smaller ones, we offer a fiddling-afternoon with a nature- or moosetheme or we play the very popular game: älgrally (mooserally). SEK 20 (only for our campsite guests), incl. Lemonade and a small snack. Activ Rådastrand, Living Stratego (ages from 8) The goal is to try to take the flag from your rivals. Try to make a strategy with your team. It s a great evening game in the forest around the campsite. Free Activ Rådastrand, campfires Collect all the wood you can find during the day and make a beautiful campfire when it gets dark. Tell a scary story to you family or friends while making a real hot-dog above the fire! Don t forget the marshmallows We have different fireplaces on the campsite so there s room for everyone!
