The Lagoons of Ruidera are essentially formed by fifteen lakes linked by waterfalls and ravines and are located in central Spain. The Natural Park of Cabo de Gata and Mojácar are in the south of Spain, but in the east of Almeria and consist of mountains, volcanic cliffs, beaches, creeks and steppes, a truly amazing territory. 2 In two of the most stunning landscapes of Spain we designed two programs of nautical activities: The Natural Park of Lagoons of Ruidera and Mojácar/ The Natural Park of Cabo de Gata. With activities like kayaking, snorkeling, basic diving courses, introduction to sailing or paddle, surfing, water sports program to discover these natural wonders with the main role of water. The Natural Park of the Lagoons in Ruidera are essentially formed by their fifteen lakes linked by waterfalls and ravines, and they meet in the central Spain. 3 Diving in Lagoons ofruidera The Natural Park of the Lagoons in Ruidera has fifteen lagoons, and along them we have designed different dives to discover interior diving, any different dive. If you have never dived in the interior don't worry, we will introduce you the changes of the technique in a short introduction before the first diving. RuiderActiva offers you the service of its Diving Center of the Interior in Lagoons of Ruidera, situated in the town of Ruidera,has necessary facilities to make divers' stay comfortable: reception, shops, services, changing rooms, rental, equipment, classrooms for courses, lockers, vehicles to access the dives and of course we have an enthusiastic and professional team of instructors. During the regular season from the 19th of March to the 1st of November the temperatures are equal to the Mediterranean. In winter the temperatures are lower than the temperatures of the sea. VISIBILITY. In contrast to what one might think, in Lagoons of Ruidera there is an acceptable visibility for diving around 5 or 10 meters average, although temporary up to 15 meters. 4 Diving in Mojácar and Cabo de Gata We have selected the best dives in Mojácar and in the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata, one of the best dive enclaves in the Mediterranean Sea. We dive in Carboneras, Agua Amarga, Las Negras y Villaricos, the best diving spots in the in the east of Almeria. 5 Freshwater, Saltwater Diving in Spain We have designed a spectacular diving program in Spain : Sweetwater in the National Park of the Lagoons of Ruidera and Saltwater in Mojácar and in the National Park of the Cabo de Gata, one of the best diving spots in the Mediterranean Sea. In Lagoons of Ruidera we will dive in different lagoons, indoor ecosystem that surely will surprise you with its clear waters and abundance of life, an extraordinary dive. In Mojácar and Cabo de Gata we will dive in Carboneras, Agua Amarga, Las Negras & Villaricos, the best diving spots in Almeria. 6 Hiking MOJÁCAR AND CABO DE GATA The special conditions of the Almerian coast make us to develop a spectacular program for the whole year. The Virgin coast, mountains and steppes, makes the place an unforgettable memory for the walkers of any skill level and gear. Strolling through Cabo de Gata is a great discovery for all participants, with different routes and night hiking with introduction to the basic astronomy. LAGOONS OF RUIDERA Fifteen lakes linked by waterfalls and torrents forming the most important lagoon complex in the entire peninsula. Thanks to the activity of hiking you can discover in all its essence and encloses you to its different ecosystems, a luxury for the hiker. You can also realize it in the other nearest Natural & National Parks: Daimiel, Cabańeros, Rio Mundo, Valle de Alcudia, and night hiking with introduction to the basic astronomy.
