5 The City s synthetic ice rink is located along the east side of the Fox River. It doesn t matter the temperature because the ice never melts! The Sanctuary will be having an introductory ice fishing workshop for kids ages 6-12 (accompanied by an adult). The workshop will start in the Nature Center learning about equipment, safety, fish species, and then making your own pole. Weather permitting we will travel to a spot to try our hand at real ice fishing. Pre-registration required. *If adults plan on fishing, a valid fishing license is required. Full Moon & Campfire Monday, January 5, 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 6:00 p.m. Fee: $5 per person pre-registration is not required. Must have skis. Check in at the trail start by the Nature Center. There are over 35 park shelters available to rent throughout the City for a graduation party, class reunion, birthday party or family picnic. Bay Beach hosts many corporate picnics, weddings, school picnics, and family reunions throughout the summer in 7 open shelters and the Pavilion dance hall.
