1 Each summer Easter Seals Louisiana proudly partners with Camp ASCCA to send kids with special needs to camp. SPONSOR A KID S TRIP TO CAMP With your help, we can continue to send Louisiana children on the summer adventure of a lifetime!

2 From campfire sing-a-longs and late night ghost stories, to boating, nature walks, swimming, and arts and crafts, Easter Seals camps provide the same excitement and activity available at other summer camp programs. The difference? Easter Seals campers experience the joys and challenges of camp in a fully-accessible setting. ABOUT CAMP ASCCA Camp ASCCA is a nationally recognized leader in therapeutic recreation for children and adults with both physical and intellectual disabilities. Located in Jackson Gap, Alabama, AS- CCA offers campers a wide variety of recreational and educational activities including horseback riding, fishing, tubing, an accessible waterslide, swimming, environmental education, arts and crafts, canoeing, a "splash pad", outdoor adventure elements like the zip-line, and much more. 3 Each year we strive to send a number of Louisiana children and teens with disabilities to summer camp. Easter Seals Louisiana is proud to cover the full cost of camp tuition. This program is made possible through donations to our Specific Assistance Program. We also provide additional funds to help with travel costs and necessary camp gear, when needed. How Can You Help? Sponsor A Child! It costs approximately $900 for a child to spend a 5 day session at the camp. These fees include full tuition for 1 summer camp session, the application fee, as well as additional funds to help the families with travel costs of getting their camper to and from Camp ASCCA. By sponsoring one of our campers, you can help allieveate the costs to their families and give them a summer they ll never forget!
