1 Booking your perfect day For your peace of mind Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa will provisionally hold the date of your choice for a maximum of 2 weeks without deposit or obligation. Once you have decided on a date and agreed this with one of our Wedding Planners a letter will be sent to you outlining details of your big day along with our terms and conditions. Your booking will be confirmed once you have returned your 500 deposit and a signed copy of the terms and conditions. Approximately 3 months before your wedding you will be invited in to go through the finer details in preparation for your final meeting with us. We will require a payment of 50% of the balance 6 months prior to your wedding, with the remainder due 4 weeks before your big day. Your Wedding Planner will arrange a final meeting with you both within 2 to 4 weeks of your wedding. The meeting will last approximately an hour, discussing your day from beginning to end. 5 A STUNNING BACKDROP Ranging from the use of our stylishly dressed function suites, to an intimate fine dining experience in our L 37 Restaurant, Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa can customise your day in order to make it your own. Our beautiful Ambassador Suite offers stunning backdrops with views over the Old Course that allow you to take your wedding outside during the summer months. With an elegant terrace for Champagne and Canapés, the Ambassador Suite can accommodate up to 250 guests. The Suite is however completely flexible, giving you a choice of configuration to set the perfect atmosphere for your special day.

It can take longer than you think! Have your flowers and button holes collected or delivered from the florist and remember that they may need to be delivered to different addresses. Arrange for your gift to your husband to be delivered to him. Make sure that someone has taken all other gifts to the venue, including flowers for your Mother and Mother-in-law, or for any other people who have been particularly helpful.
