1 1.0 Disclaimer AV360 Quick Install Guide The purchase and usage f Belkin AV360 is fr indr applicatin nly. Belkin AV360 shuld nly be installed by a licensed cable electrician skilled in the field f lw vltage indr cable installs. The Belkin AV360 slutin is nt intended fr d-it-yurself installatin as critical damage t building, hardware and bdily harm may ccur if nt prperly installed. 2.0 Prduct Descriptin Belkin AV360 is the highest perfrming end t end mdular AV cabling system in the wrld, cnnecting AV surces t prjectrs, displays, and TVs via a single cable. All AV360 extensin cables cme with ur patented 360 swivel pull caps fr easy cnduit installatin. Belkin AV360 slutins: Cmpsite, S-Vide, r Cmpnent: ft extensin cables will wrk with cmpsite, s-vide r cmpnent wall plates. The cmpsite, s-vide r cmpnent adapters will nly wrk with 25 and 50ft extensin cables. VGA r VGA+Stere Audi: up t 300 with wallplate terminatins HDMI: up t 250 with wallplate terminatins 3.0 Installatin IMPORTANT: The AV360 Extensin Cable Type MUST match the AV360 Wallplates. The cables are clr-cded t match the wallplates. Any nn-clr matched cnfiguratin will result in nn-perfrmance, ptential damage t the cabling & active cmpnents, and viding f the Belkin warranty. AV360 is designed t pass straight cnduits and 90 degree bending cnduits. AV360 will nt pass thrugh 90 degree tight angled cnduits. 1. Belkin cmpnents required a. AV360 Wallplate set: TX & RX wallplates and respective pwer adapters b. AV360 Extensin cable c. Belkin-brand AV cables: HDMI, VGA, Cmpsite, Cmpnent, r S-Vide -r equivalent- 2. Tls required a. Phillips screwdriver b. Optinal, if junctin bx is nt used: i. Electric Drill ii. Drywall saw iii. Wall anchr screws c. Pull rd, fish tape and/r pull line 3. Initial Setup a. Identify the TX and RX Wallplates i. TX is the surce side: DVD, PC, r Media player ii. RX is the display side: Prjectr, mnitr, r TV

2 b. Verify that the extensin cable has the same clr cde as bth wallplates c. Verify that 110VAC is available within 3ft f the wallplate installatin lcatins fr pwer adapters 4. Installatin: a. With electrical junctin bx and cnduit i. Install electrical cnduit and [2-prt] junctin bxes at the TX and RX lcatins accrding t lcal electrical cdes ii. Pull AV360 extensin cable thrugh the cnduit using pull rd, fish tape r pull line attached t pull cap iii. Remve pull caps and cnnect ends f AV360 extensin cable t the AV360 wallplates. iv. Cnnect pwer adaptrs t AV360 wallplates. If the electrical utlet fr the adaptr is behind the wall, rute the cable thrugh the wallplate cver s ntch. v. Attach AV360 wallplates t junctin bx. b. Withut electrical junctin bx r cnduit i. Using the enclsed template, cut the wallplate hle int the wall at bth the TX and RX lcatins. ii. Drill the munting hles accrding t the template and insert wall anchrs screws iii. Pull AV360 extensin cable frm ne wallplate hle t the ther using pull rd, fish tape r pull line attached t pull cap. iv. Remve pull caps and cnnect ends f AV360 extensin cable t the AV360 wallplates. v. Cnnect pwer adaptrs t AV360 wallplates. If the electrical utlet fr the adaptr is behind the wall, rute the cable thrugh the wallplate cver s ntch. vi. Attach AV360 wallplates t the anchred hles n the wall. 5. Cnnect surce and display t the respective wallplates. We recmmend Belkin-brand VGA, HDMI, Cmpnent, Cmpsite and S-Vide cables. *Nte: Prir t installing the wall plates, please verify that the lcatin f wall plates is away frm any & all active pwer lines. 4.0 VGA and HDMI Wallplate Instructins Belkin AV360 pwered wallplates have designated TX sticker fr transmitter and RX sticker fr receiver n the individual wall plate: Verify that bth the VGA and HDMI surce & player equipments share cmpatible graphic utput type and reslutin. HDMI wallplates will nt upscale vide t 1080p if the surce is nt rated 1080p. VGA wallplates will nt upscale beynd surce graphic card capability. Once the extensin cable is cnnected t the TX and RX wallplate, plug in the pwer adapter befre turning n the surce and player. VGA wallplates: t make vide adjustments, adjust the TX wallplate tuning buttn first, and then the RX wallplate tuning buttn t fine tune vide image. HDMI wallplates are plug & play, n additinal adjustments needed. 5.0 Trubleshting Prblem: I am getting ghsting, shadwing, r fuzzy images n my mnitr.

3 Check that the mnitr supprts the reslutin and refresh rate setting n yur cmputer. Check that the graphic card supprts the reslutin and refresh rate setting n yur cmputer. Hit aut adjust n mnitr t see if the prblem still appears. VGA wallplates nly: adjust the TX (transmitter) wallplate first, and then the RX (receiver) Prblem: I am getting ghsting, shadwing, r fuzzy images n my TV. Check that the TV supprts the reslutin and refresh rate setting n yur DVD player. Check that the DVD player supprts the reslutin and refresh rate setting n yur TV. Hit aut adjust n TV t see if the prblem still appears. VGA wallplates nly: adjust the TX (transmitter) wallplate first, and then the RX (receiver) Prblem: I am getting a black screen. If a pwer adapter is used, check that the pwer adapter is prperly cnnected. Cnnect the cmputer r DVD player directly t the mnitr r TV t see if the prblem persists. Hit aut adjust n mnitr t see if the prblem still appears. VGA wallplates nly: adjust the TX (transmitter) wallplate first, and then the RX (receiver) 6.0 Warranty Belkin Internatinal, Inc., Limited 3-Year Prduct Warranty Belkin Internatinal, Inc. ( Belkin ) warrants t the riginal purchaser f this Belkin prduct that the prduct shall be free f defects in design, assembly, material, r wrkmanship fr three years. What will we d t crrect prblems? Prduct warranty: Belkin will repair r replace, at its ptin, any defective prduct free f charge (except fr shipping charges fr the prduct). Belkin reserves the right t discntinue any f its prducts withut ntice, and disclaims any limited warranty t repair r replace any such discntinued prducts. In the event that Belkin is unable t repair r replace the prduct (fr example, because it has been discntinued), Belkin will ffer either a refund r a credit tward the purchase f anther prduct frm Belkin.cm in an amunt equal t the purchase price f the prduct as evidenced n the riginal purchase receipt as discunted by its natural use. The part number f the Belkin prduct. b. Where yu purchased the prduct. c. When yu purchased the prduct. d. Cpy f riginal receipt. 2. Yur Belkin Custmer Service Representative will then instruct yu n hw t frward yur receipt and Belkin prduct and hw t prceed with yur claim. Belkin reserves the right t review the damaged Belkin prduct. All csts f shipping the Belkin prduct t Belkin fr inspectin shall be brne slely by the purchaser. If Belkin determines, in its sle discretin, that it is impractical t ship the damaged equipment t Belkin, Belkin may designate, in its sle discretin, an equipment repair facility t inspect and estimate the cst t repair such equipment. The cst, if any, f shipping the equipment t and frm such repair facility and f such estimate shall be brne slely by the purchaser. Damaged equipment must remain available fr inspectin until the claim is finalized.
