1 EXTENDED WARRANTY PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN VICTORY MOTORCYCLES Extended Warranty Plicy Engine, transmissin, electrnics LIMITED WARRANTY VICTORY MOTORCYCLES Cmpany, 2100 Highway 55, Medina, MN 55340, USA (VICTORY MOTORCYCLES) gives a LIMITED EXTENDED WARRANTY n certain cmpnents (see belw) f yur VICTORY MOTORCYCLES against defects in material r wrkmanship. This Extended Warranty cvers certain parts and labr charges fr repair r replacement f defective parts and begins upn expiratin f the tw year (24 mnths) Initial Limited Warranty n the date f purchase by the riginal retail purchaser, and cvers privately used mtrcycles nly. This warranty is transferable t anther wner during the perid f applicatin f the Extended Warranty perid thrugh a VICTORY MOTORCYCLES dealer, but any such transfer will nt extend the riginal term f the Extended Warranty. This Extended Warranty will nt apply t any cmmercially used mtrcycles r mtrcycles that at any pint during the Initial Warranty perid was used fr cmmercial rent. The prduct is used cmmercially when it is used in cnnectin with any wrk r emplyment that generates incme, r licensed fr a cmmercial purpse during any part f the warranty perid. This Extended Warranty will be in effect fr a perid f THIRTY-SIX (36) MONTHS fr privately used mtrcycles. Fr any infrmatin n the validity, terms and cnditins related t the Initial Warranty, please cnsult the VICTORY MOTORCYCLES Warranty Plicy Limited Warranty which can be fund in yur user s manual. DISTINCTION BETWEEN INITIAL LIMITED WARRANTY AND PRESENT EXTENDED LIMITED WARRANTY CAMPAIGN This Extended Warranty prvides a maximum 5 years f warranty cverage n certain privately used VICTORY MOTORCYCLESs, cnstituted as fllws: - Initial Limited Warranty: initial limited warranty applying t VICTORY MOTORCYCLESs, subject t the VICTORY MOTORCYCLES Warranty Plicy Limited Warranty which can be fund in the user s manual. This initial limited warranty prvides a maximum f 2 years cverage frm the date f purchase. This warranty is hereinafter referred t as the Initial Warranty. - Extended Warranty: the present extended warranty campaign applying t certain privately used VICTORY MOTORCYCLES is subject t the present VICTORY MOTORCYCLES Extended Warranty Plicy Limited Warranty. This extended limited warranty prvides a maximum f 3 years cverage frm the date f expiratin f the Initial Warranty perid. This warranty is hereinafter referred t as the Extended Warranty. page 1 f 5

2 LIMITED SCOPE OF EXTENDED WARRANTY COVERAGE This Extended Warranty nly cvers the VICTORY MOTORCYCLESs that cmply with all f the belw cnditins: - VICTORY MOTORCYCLES f Mdel Year 2014, purchased at the riginal retail dealership in the United Kingdm between Octber 1, 2013 and March 31, 2015 (included); and - VICTORY MOTORCYCLES nt subject t any exclusins r limitatins listed in the VICTORY MOTORCYCLES Warranty Plicy Limited Warranty which can be fund in the user s manual, at any pint during the Initial Warranty and/r Extended Warranty perid; and - VICTORY MOTORCYCLES that are privately used, and have always been privately used at any time during the Initial Warranty and/r Extended Warranty perid. - VICTORY MOTORCYCLES that are nt used cmmercially r have nt been used fr cmmercial rent at any time during the Initial Warranty and/r Extended Warranty perid. The prduct is used cmmercially when it is used in cnnectin with any wrk r emplyment that generates incme, r licensed fr a cmmercial purpse during any part f the Initial Warranty and/r Extended Warranty perid. - VICTORY MOTORCYCLES registered in the cuntry where first purchased, that have nt been the subject f registratin utside the cuntry f first purchase at any time during the Initial Warranty and/r Extended Warranty perid. WARRANTY COVERAGE AND EXCLUSIONS: LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES This Extended Warranty is limited as fllws: - Warranty cverage: this Extended Warranty cvers nly the fllwing parts: Engine cmpnents; hwever excluding cnsumable cmpnents such as, fr example, filters and liquids. Transmissin cmpnents and gearbx; hwever excluding cnsumable cmpnents such as, fr example, filters, fluids, clutch plates and belt drive systems; Electrnics, including analg and digital instruments, vehicle cntrller, engine cntrller fr ignitin and fuel injectin, fuel system, statr/charge regulatr and starter mtr; hwever excluding electrical cnsumable cmpnents such as, fr example, light bulbs, fuses, fuseable links and batteries. page 2 f 5

3 - Warranty perid: this Extended Warranty will be in effect fr a perid f THIRTY-SIX (36) MONTHS, and begins upn expiratin f the tw year (24 mnths) Initial Limited Warranty n the date f purchase by the riginal retail purchaser. Nte that yu must at all times infrm yur VICTORY MOTORCYCLES dealer f any vehicle issue that yu have detected within a reasnable perid f time, depending n the nature f the issue. - Warranty exclusins: this Extended Warranty excludes: Any failures that are nt caused by a defect in material r wrkmanship. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER CLAIMS OF DEFECTIVE DESIGN. This warranty als des nt cver acts f Gd, accidental damage, nrmal wear and tear, abuse r imprper handling. This warranty als des nt cver any mtrcycle, cmpnent, r part that has been altered structurally, mdified, neglected, imprperly maintained, r that was at any pint in time used fr racing r purpses ther than fr which it was designed. Damages r failures resulting frm: imprper lubricatin; imprper engine timing; imprper fuel; surface imperfectins caused by external stress, heat, cld r cntaminatin; peratr errr r abuse; imprper cmpnent alignment, tensin, adjustment r altitude cmpensatin; snw, water, dirt r ther freign substance ingestin/cntaminatin; imprper maintenance; mdified cmpnents; use f aftermarket r unapprved cmpnents, accessries, r attachments; unauthrized repairs; r repairs made after the warranty perid expires r by an unauthrized repair center. Damages r failures caused by abuse, accident, fire, r any ther cause ther than a defect in materials r wrkmanship. This Extended Warranty prvides n cverage fr cnsumable cmpnents, general wear items, r any parts expsed t frictin surfaces, stresses, envirnmental cnditins and/r cntaminatin fr which they were nt designed r nt intended, including but nt limited t the fllwing items: Wheels and tires Finished and unfinished surfaces Suspensin cmpnents Fuel Injectrs/Thrttle bdy cmpnents Brake cmpnents Engine cmpnents Seat cmpnents Drive belts Clutches and cmpnents Hydraulic cmpnents and fluids Steering cmpnents Circuit breakers/fuses page 3 f 5

4 Batteries Electrnic cmpnents Light bulbs/sealed beam lamps Filters Lubricants Bushings Spark plugs Sealants Clants Bearings This warranty prvides n cverage fr persnal lss r expense, including mileage, transprtatin csts, htels, meals, shipping r handling fees, mtrcycle pick-up r delivery, replacement rentals, lss f vehicle use, lss f prfits, r lss f vacatin r persnal time. THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR BREACH OF THIS EXTENDED WARRANTY SHALL BE, AT VICTORY MOTORCYCLES S OPTION, REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY DEFECTIVE MATERIALS, COMPONENTS, OR PRODUCTS. ANY FURTHER RIGHTS UNDER THIS WARRANTY ARE EXCLUDED. ANY STATUTORY RIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE UNDER THE APPLICABLE LAW DUE TO DEFECTS OF YOUR MOTORCYCLE SHALL NOT BE AFFECTED BY THIS EXTENDED WARRANTY. HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE If yur mtrcycle requires warranty service, yu must take it within a reasnable perid f timing after detecting a defect cvered by this Extended Warranty t an authrized VICTORY MOTORCYCLES dealer. When requesting warranty service yu must present yur cpy f the Warranty Registratin Frm t the dealer. (THE COST OF TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE DEALER IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY). VICTORY MOTORCYCLES suggests that yu use yur riginal selling dealer; hwever, yu may use any VICTORY MOTORCYCLES Dealer t perfrm warranty service. In the Cuntry where yur mtrcycle was purchased: Warranty r Service Bulletin repairs must be dne by an authrized VICTORY MOTORCYCLES dealer. If yu mve r are traveling within the cuntry where yur mtrcycle was purchased, Warranty and Service Bulletin repairs may be perfrmed at any authrized VICTORY MOTORCYCLES dealer within that cuntry. page 4 f 5

5 Outside the Cuntry where yur mtrcycle was purchased: If yu are traveling temprarily utside the cuntry where yur mtrcycle was purchased, yu shuld take yur mtrcycle t an authrized VICTORY MOTORCYCLES dealer. Yu must shw the dealer pht identificatin frm the cuntry f the selling dealer s authrized lcatin as prf f residence. Upn residence verificatin, the servicing dealer will be authrized t perfrm the warranty repair. If yu register a vehicle utside f the cuntry in which the mtrcycle was riginally purchased: If yu register a vehicle utside f the cuntry in which the mtrcycle was riginally purchased, the Extended Warranty expires, and any Extended Warranty cverage requests will be denied. Hwever, it is nevertheless imprtant t cntact VICTORY MOTORCYCLES Custmer Assistance and the custms department f the destinatin cuntry. Vehicle imprtatin rules vary cnsiderably frm cuntry t cuntry. Yu may be required t btain dcumentatin frm VICTORY MOTORCYCLES in rder t register yur mtrcycle in yur new cuntry. Yu shuld warranty register yur mtrcycle at a lcal VICTORY MOTORCYCLES dealer in yur new cuntry immediately after yu mve t ensure that yu receive infrmatin and ntices regarding yur mtrcycle. If yu purchase frm a private party: If yu purchase a VICTORY MOTORCYCLES frm a private party, t be kept and used utside f the cuntry in which the mtrcycle was riginally purchased, all warranty cverage will be denied. Yu must nnetheless register yur mtrcycle under yur name and address with a lcal VICTORY MOTORCYCLES dealer in yur cuntry t ensure that yu receive safety infrmatin and ntices regarding yur mtrcycle. NOTICE If any f the abve terms are vid because f federal, state r lcal law, all ther warranty terms will remain in effect. Please wrk with yur dealer t reslve any warranty issues.
