The specific requirements f client were: The prduct with lwest price shuld be displayed at the tp if the same prduct is sld by multiple vendrs Vendrs can uplad their simple as well as cnfigurable prducts Vendrs shuld be able t view varius reprts n the basis f custmers and prducts Vendrs shuld be able t set shipping methds as well as shipping rates Vendr shuld be able t create new prducts and mdify their quantity Like in any ther Magent multistre prtal, Custmers shuld be able t view all the prducts frm all the vendrs and give their feedback r review in the frm f ratings. Vendr must have the ability t reply t custmer's reviews Vendr must have their wn lgin panel with dashbard which shuld shw the numerical analysis Prject Challenges The team faced a cuple f challenges during this e-cmmerce marketplace system prject: It was difficult t implement the functinality t cmpare the prices f the same prduct frm different vendrs and then display the ne with the lwest price at the tp. It was difficult t handle multiple vendrs n the same platfrm and manage the rders frm millins f custmers at the same time. The Data Access layer cntains the libraries which are respnsible fr accessing the data frm the database The user Interface is respnsible fr creating the graphical user interface f the website Architecture This marketplace wrks n the Magent architecture which is the MVC architecture alng with the few mre additins t it. It is divided int three parts; tw fr mdel and ne fr the helpers and cntrllers. All the functinalities f this marketplace shall be built by dividing them int varius mdules, as all f us knw that Magent is a mdular architecture. Develpment Highlights The main bjective f this prject was t prvide the platfrm t several vendrs t sell their prducts t the custmers. S, multivendr management is ne f the best things that will be carried ut. Anther imprtant thing is t manage the cmmissin that the marketplace wner shall get fr the rders as well as the categry based cmmissin fr prducts. Basically, it is a marketplace where the marketplace wner, vendrs as well as custmers are benefited at the same time.
