4 "Fusing Theory and Practice: Honors Consulting Projects for Drucker MBA Students, in the Journal of Education for Business, May/June IX. Other Research Activity: Examining inter-company collaborations, with particular focus on managerial effectiveness issues relating to these popular forms of organizing work activities to compete in the global economy. Developed and implemented team-teaching modules on international business, and prepared a report and a working paper on this action-research: 'Globalizing Business Education: A Modular Approach." Examined the impact of information technology on the Distance Learning delivery of graduate programs, and on selected its impact on selected industries (for example: the book retailing and the automotive industries). Exploring literature and case studies on the subject of "Managing People Wisely," and on effective Management Consulting and Project Management. Currently working on a paper on Experiential Learning in Graduate Management Education. X. Consulting: Have done extensive internal consulting (strategic planning, capital investments, site selection/expansion, technology assessment, and new product development), in corporate staff positions with FMC Corporation and with PMA Inc. Consulted with the California Council on Science and Technology on strategy development, and engaged MBA student teams to conduct related field research. Consulted on strategic management topics with various corporations. Teach Experiential Management and Management Consulting Practicum courses and overseeing MBA student teams working on dozens of projects sponsored by a variety of for-profit and non-profit organizations at The Paul Merage School of Business, University of California, Irvine. Developed, taught, and coordinated the Honors Consulting MBA Practicum at the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management, The Claremont Graduate University. XI. Professional Growth Activities: Have been involved in Academies of Management and

5 International Business. Regularly attend research colloquiums on organizational and managerial research topics. Co-chaired research colloquiums at Drucker on Strategic Alliances and on Management Consulting. Reviewed a new textbook on international Business for Harcourt Publishers (Czinkota, Ronkainen, and Moffett), and for Pearson Education). Regularly attend academic seminars and workshops on: teaching excellence, executive development, leadership, strategy. Reviewed research papers for potential publication in Academic Journals. XII. Professional Presentations: Have given numerous technical and business presentations as a scientist and later as a practicing manager. Have lectured as a guest speaker on international business and management topics at The Claremont Graduate School, The University of Redlands, The University of La Verne, Whittier College, and at St. Peter s College of Oxford University. Institutional Services Performed: As Experiential Learning program coordinator at The Paul Merage School of Business, Univerity of California, Irvine, have helped develop and implement a projects oriented course for MBA students. Director, Management Program, Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management, Claremont Graduate University Directed all activities of the Drucker full and part-time MBA program, including student recruiting and admissions, financial aid, course/faculty scheduling and staffing, coordination of joint degrees and trans-disciplinary programs, curriculum development and academic advising, administration of staff and budgets. Also, served on University and Drucker School committees and task forces. At the University of La Verne, have served as Chair of the MBA Business Program, as Chair of the MBA/Health Services Management program, and as Chair of the MS in Business Organizational Management program.

6 Served as course specialist in the ULV Business School, for management and international business courses. Helped design, implement, and taught a hybrid on-line/inperson MBA program in Singapore. Also, served as faculty liaison with the ULV Athens business programs, and the ULV Alaska MS BOM program. Have conducted collegial reviews with adjunct faculty.
