4 Student Recruitment International mix of students at different levels Undergraduate (annual intake: 700) 20% international as allowed by the HK Gov t This is supplemented by a large number of exchange students from overseas MBA Full-time (annual intake: 70) 80% international 20 nationalities represented Kellogg-HKUST EMBA (annual intake: 60) 80% international 14 nationalities represented

5 International Student Exchange Program UG 102 partners around the world >50% of students in each entering class can spend 1 semester abroad Similar number of students from overseas partner schools on our campus MBA 53 partners in 15 countries In 2008/09, 54 full-time MBA (72% of the same cohort) and 39 of part-time MBA (20% of same cohort) went on a one semester exchange 60 students from partner schools studied on our campus

11 Curriculum The school and the university as a whole offer a number of elective courses on regional and global issues in the respective disciplines UG students 60% of the class 2007 graduated with double majors 17% of credit hours learning in general education

12 Innovations UG Students are required to take an interdisciplinary course jointly designed by the Business School and the Language Center in their first year. The course uses cases from different countries. MBA Residential program The first required core, Managerial Problem Solving, is a five-day residential program held in late August before the program begins. It includes class work and an experiential learning program for students from different cultural and professional backgrounds to work and learn together.
