5 which is AAC&U's NSF-funded initiative to improve science education by teaching math and science through real world problems LACTE grant, LMU Campus Coordinator (and collaborator on the grant proposal) for the Los Angeles Collaborative for Teacher Excellence, a 6-year, $5,500,000 NSF-funded initiative with the goal of improving K-12 teacher preparation programs in science and mathematics at ten Los Angeles area colleges and universities. The website that I codeveloped with J. Kasabian and L. Kjeseth stands as the final dissemination piece for all aspects of this project. 52
