Department of Teacher Education required research practicum project, Michigan State University, Cohort Leader/Research Assistant, Urban Partnerships Supporting Transformative Alternative Routes to Teaching (UPSTART), Michigan State University, Responsibilities included monitoring students progress throughout program, conducting programmatic interviews after each academic semester, professional resource for program cohort, and conducting programmatic research on the cohort structure. Site Coordinator, Lansing School District Freedom School, Lansing School District, Lansing, Michigan, Proposed the idea of starting a Children s Defense Fund Freedom School to the Lansing School District and worked with administrators to implement program.
