We are open for everybody; you just have to buy the Hyvät Kuvat-movie card. Hyvät Kuvat has one film in two shows on Thursdays in Kino Kuvakukko movie theatre (Vuorikatu 27). EARLY EVENING-show (ALKUILTA) starts at 17:30 and LATE EVENING (LOPPUILTA) at 20:00. When you go to buy the movie card, tell which show you want to go. Movie cards are PERSONAL and FOR THE SHOW THEY ARE SOLD TO. All the films are in their original language, with subtitles in Finnish unless mentioned otherwise. 5 OTHER STUDENT EVENTS: EXTREME RUN AT TAHKO This winter s toughest competition and most memorable party will take place in Tahko ExtremeRun, the event that became an instant phenomenon in Finland, will be held in Tahko for the first time in the winter of A nine kilometer Via Dolorosa will be built on the icy terrain between the restaurant Piazza and the Tahko slopes, and will offer a challenge for even the hardiest of competitors. The wintry conditions, deep snow and steep slopes will guarantee that your lungs will be crying for mercy and you ll be dripping sweat in spite of the frigid temperatures. Like the previous ExtremeRun events, ExtremeRun Tahko offers as much fun for the spectators as it does for those participating in the competition. Most of the obstacles on the course are accessible to the audience, who will be able to cheer on the competitors as they tackle the course. ExtremeRun brings a change to the usual runing events, and offers an extreme sport experience whatever your level of fitness. Competitors can choose to compete on either the Competitive level or the Fun level. The nine kilometre course consists of three 3- kilometre rounds, and participants can choose how many rounds they will run according to their fitness level. The event has a carnival atmosphere with many participants running in a range of costumes. Sign up now for ExtremeRun Tahko, and bring your friends with you.
