2 2 $5 Senior Yearbook Portraits Monday, August 24 Senior Orientation/Schedule Pick- up Holly High School 8 am to 11 am LA s Photography will be at Senior Orientation/Schedule Pick- up offering senior portraits for only $5. This exclusive offer includes: Multiple choices of senior mug shots to choose from. Choices will be posted on LA Photography s website: A $25 photo credit for LA Photography for future use. Your chosen photo will be in the 2016 Yearbook in the Senior Photos section. Additional sizes available: 8 x 10 option for $10; 5 x 7 option for $5.50. Follow these specifications! Boys: wear a collared shirt and tie. Girls: wear a conservative light sweater or shirt preferably in a solid color. Style hair accordingly. Light make- up if desired. 3 3 Yearbook Portrait Specification Holly High School has contracted LA Photography in order to provide professional portraits at a low cost to Holly High School families. Senior portraits are still accepted from other photographers. Please give these specifications to your chosen photographer. ** Note to the photographer: If you are shooting 5 or more of our students you may hold all photos until the deadline. When? DEADLINE: Thursday, October 15. Where? .jpeg image to: hhsyearbook@has- k12.org. Please put student name in subject line of the . CD- RM discs: Drop off in room 217 to Ms. Held. Please print student name on disc. Senior Portrait Specifications: Head- and- shoulders shots only. Plain backgrounds in either gray or blue. No props, outdoor shots, or bright backgrounds tall by wide. Vertical portraits only. No black and white photos. Head size should be approx. 50% of photo height. Example: % of photo height

5 5 Senior Ad Examples and Information: Photo Submission Guidelines Digital Photos: Digital files on a flash drive, CD or via hhsyearbook@has- k12.org. Print Photos: We can scan a photo print, but the resolution is significantly lower than a digitally submitted photo. We will return print photos asap. However, DO NOT submit irreplaceable photos submit copies instead. We DO NOT accept responsibility for lost or damaged print photos. Write your name, address and phone number on the back of each photo, a return address label works well. Layout/Design: Yearbook staff will design the layout, enlarging, reducing and orienting as necessary. If we don t think your photos will work, we will contact you. Editing: We reserve the right to reject or edit photos or text or ask the customer to make changes to conform to school standards, guidelines and maximum character lengths. We will do our best to correct grammar errors. Review/Approval: We adamantly prefer that you approve our final layout and will make every reasonable attempt to contact the person you designate to approve the ad on the order form. If we cannot reach you/them after 3 attempts in 3 days, via both and phone, we will use our best judgment. No Refunds: We do our best to avoid spelling errors and thoroughly proof our ads. But we are human. And there are over 1,100 students, no two with same name spelling. That is why we ask you to approve the final ads.
