1 Senior Portrait Information Senior Photo Pose Selection If you had your photo taken by our school photographer before November 1, you have access to your pictures online and you can choose your yearbook pose online at shop.prestigeportraits.com. This is the most direct and error proof way of taking and selecting a photo for the yearbook. Selections must be made by November 12, 2012 or a choice will be made for you. Alternate Photographers If you are a student who wishes to submit your own senior portrait, the following guidelines are in place to achieve a consistent look to our yearbook. Please read the specifications carefully. If you are unsure about meeting these guidelines, please have your picture taken by our school photographer free of charge. You do not need to purchase a photo package to be in the yearbook. YEARBOOK SENIOR PORTRAIT SPECIFICATIONS 1. Choose a standard, formal head-and-shoulders photo. No hands or props in the picture. 2. Images may not have a copyright notice or other text on the image. 3. Size. We can and will resize your photo if needed. For your reference photos will be sized to 640x800 pixels (2x3 inches) and 300dpi resolution. 4. Please choose a standard studio, plain yearbook background. Blue or Gray is preferred. No outdoor shots. 5. Senior pictures must be uploaded by November 21, 2012 to 6. Photos submitted after November 21, 2012 are NOT guaranteed to appear in the yearbook.

2 Yearbook Order Form What better way to remember your high school experience than purchasing your very own copy of The Prince 2013! You qualify for early bird pricing of $90 ($15 savings) if you purchase your book before December 15, Ordering before December 15 th also guarantees that you will receive a yearbook. Late orders may not be possible if books sell out! Any yearbooks purchased after December 15 will cost $105. BRAND NEW THIS YEAR!!! Yearbooks can be ordered online for your convenience. Ordering online allows you to pay via credit card and also choose personalized options for your yearbook. Go to to order your book online!! 4 Directions for digital uploads Go to images.balfour.com Type in the project is Type in the password is Fill out all required information including name, , etc. Accept the terms of uploading Select the file you would like to upload Place your full name first and last in the box that asks for the people in the photo Label your photo o If you are submitting your own Senior Portrait type Alternate Senior Portrait in the event box. o If you are submitting a Senior Write up type Senior Write- Up in the event box. Double check that your name is complete and spelled properly Submit your images.

5 Parent Senior Farewell Message Worksheet The Prince Princeton High School 151 Moore Street Princeton, NJ PHS Prince is happy to offer parents the opportunity to send their senior a personalized farewell message to appear in The Prince Parents can create and pay for their personalized message online at balfour.com. Our online design program offers you the ability to upload your own message completely or use a handy template using your own digital photos and well wishes. FAREWELLS ARE DUE FEBRUARY 22!! Parent Name: Contact #: Student Name: Choose your farewell size: Quarter Page Farewell: 4 inches wide x 5 ½ inches high $100 Half Page Farewell: 8 ½ inches wide x 5 ½ inches high $200 Submit your Message: Option 1: Submit your text only message and the yearbook staff will retype and format the text to fit the size you have chosen. Enclose check payable to PHS- Yearbook with your text to Mrs. Lygas at PHS. Option 2: Design your own Farewell online at balfour.com. Click the size you wish to buy and you can design and pay for the message online. (Please do not use copyrighted material.) Option 3: Design your own Farewell in the program of your choice. Save it or scan it as a.jpeg file with at least 300 dpi resolution. Use the image as the only image in a design your own farewell message at balfour.com. Pay online.

6 Senior Yearbook Checklist Hey Seniors Don t miss out on all the ways you can make this year s yearbook your own! Fill out a Senior Yearbook Card and submit the card to Mrs. Lygas letting us know how you wish your name to appear in the yearbook. Due 12/7. Buy your yearbook! Early bird due 12/15. Make your yearbook selection by November 12. You can choose your pose online at shop.prestigeportraits.com. Login info comes with your package. If you are using an outside photographer, upload your picture by November 21 via images.balfour.com. Please be sure you followed the photo specification guidelines. Senior Write-Ups are due Friday December 7. Upload your write-up to images.balfour.com. Please make sure you followed the collage sizing specifications. Families can place a personalized farewell message in the yearbook. Senior Farewell messages are due before February 22. Farewells can be created and purchased online at balfour.com. Reminder when uploading images to Project: Password: #29741 Full Name & make sure you write Alternate Senior Portrait or Senior Write-Up in the appropriate event space.
