5 In detail Here s how Vodafone Total Managed Mobility works: Choose your technology Start by deciding on your technology requirements. We offer a choice of Gartner s top-rated mobile device management solutions from BlackBerry 10 to Good for Enterprise and Vodafone Secure Device Manager. You can mix and match these to suit your needs and change the mix as you need to. BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 (BES 10) A reinvention of the Blackberry Enterprise portfolio, BES 10 provides the robust mobile service you re familiar with, plus a whole range of flexible new management features that meet today s mobility challenges. You get comprehensive multi-device management, security, unified communications and applications for both corporate and personal Blackberry, ios and Android devices. Delivered through a single platform, BES 10 gives you the control you need. BlackBerry Enterprise Service 5 While we can t carry out new installations or builds of BES 5, we can take on and remotely manage your existing BES 5 installation and advise you on how best to migrate from it, should you want to. This is an additional service subject to a full audit. Good for Enterprise Good for Enterprise is a secure mobile and collaboration application that helps to increase employee productivity without compromising security, employee privacy or the personal user experience on the device. The application enables employees to access corporate , calendar, tasks, documents and a secure web browser. Good s unique containerisation approach means that personal and business data is kept separate and employees can work from any location whilst maintaining compliance with corporate security guidance. 5

6 Vodafone Secure Device Manager (VSDM) VSDM is powered by AirWatch s mobile device management software. Using our managed service capability, it enables you to remotely manage and secure you fleet of smart mobile devices through a range of features. These include (but are not limited to): Pushing profile policy and security settings to devices Managing on-device applications Wrapping mobile applications and data Controlling access to corporate and other servers Providing visibility of the device estate and device statuses 6

7 Optional extras We re also able to offer additional components to these technologies: BES 10 Secure Work Space Extends security and device management to both ios and Android devices, so you can manage a wide range of devices from a single unified console. It provides a fully secure and containerised work environment protected by password authentication. This environment includes connectivity, , calendars, contacts and work applications, plus secure browsing and the viewing and editing of attachments. Importantly, work data can t be copied or shared outside of the Secure Work Space area. Your employees get access to your corporate , calendar, tasks, documents and a secure web browser. Enables your people to use their mobile device of choice to securely access, download and share documents by integrating with SharePoint and other corporate repositories. You also get browsing, bookmarking, sharing and file upload capabilities. You can edit, annotate and check documents in or out, so you can stay productive even away from the office. An enterprise instant messaging (IM) and presence application to help improve employee communication and collaboration, while also ensuring corporate data is protected and employee privacy is respected. It s compatible with existing corporate IM platforms like Microsoft Lync, plus it has corporate directory look-up capabilities all in an easy-to-use interface. The Secure Mobility suite includes mobile app containerisation, mobile app management and service and device management technologies. These allow your organisation to implement app data security, secure workflows and automated device management that reduces risks and costs. All without compromising employee privacy regardless of device ownership. 8

9 Vodafone Secure Device Manager* On-premise components: Secure Gateway (SEG) SEG intercepts all communication with mobile devices and adds a layer of security, allowing the use of a device s native client in a highly secure way. This removes the need for a separate, third-party client, and ensures there s no compromise to security Mobile Access Gateway (MAG) MAG is deployed within your own environment and provides an additional layer of security to mobile communications between devices and corporate content, such as intranets, document repositories (SharePoint) and enterprise applications. It acts as a secure relay between the device and enterprise system and is able to authenticate and encrypt traffic from individual applications on compliant devices to the back-end systems they are trying to reach *Technology options dependent on vendor timescales 9

10 AirWatch Cloud Connector (ACC) ACC runs in the internal network behind a firewall, acting as a proxy that allows VSDM to integrate with corporate services. This component securely relays requests from the VSDM Cloud to critical enterprise infrastructure components Secure content locker: The Secure Content Locker app allows you to access important content on your device while allowing your organization to ensure those files stay secure. Any content accessed through the Secure Content Locker opens inside the application, which ensures that it cannot be copied, saved, or shared without approval Vodafone Secure Device Protection (VSDP) Anti-virus application: VSDP provides anti-virus and anti-malware protection to mobile devices. It works seamlessly with VSDM to protect your Android, Windows Mobile, Blackberry and Symbian devices 10

11 Choose your environment Next, work out how and where you want your technology managed. You can choose a cloud-based or dedicated hosting solution in a standard environment, or a highly secure one built to CESG standards for IL3/Official requirements, located in the UK and with ISO and ISO standard accreditation. Or if you prefer, you can host your technology on your own premises.* On premise/behind the firewall If you want to host the physical application servers and associated infrastructure on premise and with your own network, we can support and manage Behind the Firewall deployments. You ll be responsible for the availability and uptime of the server infrastructure, and we ll remotely manage the Total Managed Mobility applications, freeing up your IT team from routine tasks. Shared SaaS This model uses a secure, multi-tenant database architecture, where each customer is configured as a separate Organisational Group segregated from other customers on the shared SaaS platform. Our hosting environment benefits from advanced security threat management features such as Denial of Service (DoS) and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection, as well as Intrusion Detection. *Not all options available for all technologies. 12 Dedicated SaaS You ll have your own dedicated server and won t share it with anyone else. We ll take full end-to-end responsibility for your solution, hosting and managing the infrastructure and service from our global data and operations centres, providing you with an optimised service and high availability to an agreed SLA.
