2 Conference Background Cloud computing is considered as another great innovation in ICT area after personal computer and internet. It starts a new cloud computing era. Cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly utilized and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction. The National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly released a notice to carry out cloud computing service innovation in 5 major cities of China. It is to establish overall cloud computing development plan, set up special fund to encourage innovation of cloud computing technology, drive research on related cloud computing standards. In order to demonstrate recent cloud computing achievement at home and abroad, share the knowledge and experience, create the international cooperation opportunities and put forward the establishment of its most concerned standards, certification and related regulations, the Chinese Institute of Electronics will hold the 5th China Cloud Computing Conference on 5-7 June, 2013 at Beijing.

29 General Information The 3 rd China Cloud Computing Conference It was held in China National Convention Center, Beijing on May 18-20, The conference was beyond previous conferences in professionalism and attendance scale with more than 6,100 participants, including the audience from America, European Union and Asian countries.
