CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP PROFILE The Greater Washington D.C. area is the sixth largest metropolitan area in the country and has the highest per capita Asian American population, 9.3% of total population. Despite the approximately 572,000 Asian Americans living in this area, the greater percentage of our membership have less than 5 years of experience. Almost a quarter of our membership are mid-level managers, and another 30% make up senior managers and executives. Our Chapter provides various types of programming to meet all members throughout their careers. Our IAG workshops reflect D.C. s unique blend of government, international finance, and geo-politics, offering our attendees a truly spectacular experience.
