Such hours as are necessary to complete all work. This may include working outside of normal office hours and working evenings, weekends and public holidays. Tri Training Harder LLP The Residences, Victoria Clube de Golfe Avenida De Descobrimentos Vilamoura Portugal Tri Training Harder Staff and clients Tri Training Harder Camp Manager and Tri Training Harder Directors Role Summary: Physiotherapist and Triathlon Guide The purpose of this role is to have a physiotherapist on location during the Tri Training Harder training holidays. Available to offer treatment to clients and coaching staff while staying with Tri Training Harder LLP in Portugal. The successful applicant will be expected to act as a guide for clients. This could entail leading bike rides, leading longer runs, or guiding people to the swimming pool in the mornings. Tri Training Harder will provide food, accommodation, a suitable location to perform therapies and reasonable expenses. The Physiotherapist could charge their own rates to clients. The role of physiotherapist on a Tri Training Harder holiday will consist of treating and caring for coaching staff and clients. Treatment for coaches is to ensure they are able to fulfil their physically demanding job description and will be administered as needed for no extra cost. This will mean treating aches and pains and advising on any niggles. This does not include massage or MOT which will be separate and charged at reduced rates. Treatment for clients on the camp should fit their training structure and requirements. This is likely to be in the form of deep tissue massage and injury management.

2 The role of guide involves acting as a group leader or guide for cycling groups or run groups on group lead sessions around the Algarve. To be a Tri Training Harder Guide applicants must be responsible, trust worthy and capable triathletes. They will not be coaching and routes will have been predetermined however a certain level of independent thinking is required to ensure client safety at all times. This role may involve training, supervising, working with and/or being in sole charge of children and young people. The successful applicant will therefore be required either to apply for a disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly the CRB). A disclosure is an impartial and confidential document that details an individual s criminal record and where appropriate gives details of those who are banned from working with children; or, to provide proof of recent documentation (within two years of the date that the application closes) Having a criminal record will not necessarily exclude the applicant from obtaining a position. Role Objectives: To provide Physiotherapy support for clients on our training holidays To provide Physiotherapy support for coaching staff on our training holidays To lead groups for swim, bike and run sessions around the Algarve To work with coaching staff and other guides to provide a high-performance learning environment for athletes of all ability. Main Tasks and Activities As a member of the Tri Training Harder Team, the successful applicant will: Ensure the delivery of a physiotherapy service effectively meets the requirements of the staff and clients Ensure that clients participating in swim, bike and run activities are guided safely Undertake any other reasonable duties for the Camp Manager, Directors, coaches and other colleagues as requested Any other duties as may be requested Main Responsibilities: The successful applicant shares with all colleagues the responsibility: 1. Person Specification The person specification describes the knowledge, skills, aptitudes, experience and qualifications that Tri Training harder LLP deems as necessary for successful performance in the job role. 1. Qualifications Graduate-level qualifications to Bachelors level Chartered with the Chartered Society of Phsiotherapy Registered with the Health Care and Professional Council 2. Experience Essential Extensive experience in the provision of physiotherapy support to athletes and coaches to improve performance Demonstrated ability to analyse triathlon related sports A verifiable record of working within a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of physiotherapy support services Experience of developing and implementing innovative ideas and putting them into practice, including working in an applied and integrated manner Capability to ride a bicycle for a prolonged period of time frequently in a week Desirable Experience of coaching 3. Knowledge An understanding of the needs of elite, amateur and beginner athletes and coaches in a high performance environment

4 A thorough understanding of the various sports science and medicine disciplines Demonstrated ability to scientifically validate the methodology of test protocols and data and other relevant scientific data Proven ability to supervise athlete-testing protocols. 4. Skills and Abilities Ability to implement innovative ideas Ability to work under pressure Ability to prioritise own workload and that of colleagues Ability to balance conflicting demands and tight deadlines Excellent problem solving and decision making skills Ability to communicate fluently, in English Ability to communicate complex data in terms that are easily understood by a wide range of audiences Excellent presentation and communication skills that can motivate behavioural change to have a positive impact on performance Ability to work effectively with colleagues both within Tri Training Harder and from other organisations 5.
