The 4th FORESTADENT symposium will focus entirely on lingual treatment techniques. It is not intended purely as a user meeting and is also expressly targeted at orthodontists who are not yet practicing lingual treatment. All of our speakers are experienced lingual orthodontists who will offer you educational insights into interesting aspects of their treatments. This year we are pleased to invite you to our 4th FORESTADENT Symposium. Following the successful events in Majorca, Athens and Paris this year we are heading to the Italian town of Lazise. On the shores of the beautiful Lake Garda the focus this year is entirely on the 2D Lingual system. You can look forward to excellent speakers and unique insights into the practice of experienced clinicians in lingual treatment. All lectures will be interpreted simultaneously, so that you can follow them in German, English or Italian. 3 Optional hands-on course Venue On the day before the symposium starts you have the opportunity of participating in a practical course with Dr. Vittorio Cacciafesta. This takes place on at 14:00 hours and provides you with the opportunity of some hands-on experience. Dr. Vittorio Cacciafesta received his dental training at the University of Naples Federico II, Italy. From September 1996 until August 1999 he was Orthodontic Resident at the Department of Orthodontics, Royal Dental College, Aarhus University, Denmark, where he received the Specialty and Master of Science in Orthodontics. Dr. Cacciafesta was Visiting Professor at the Department of Orthodontics, Aarhus University, Denmark, and Visiting Professor at Temple University, Philadelphia, USA. Currently, he is Assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Orthodontics, University of Ferrara, Italy. The small town of Lazise lies on the eastern shore of Lake Garda in the province of Verona. The name Lazise comes from the latin word lacus which means village on the lake. Since its opening last year, this elegant Corte Valier hotel has welcomed international visitors. All lectures and breaks will take place in the hotel. The Corte Valier not only excels due to its professional event facilities, it is directly adjacent to the side of the lake and, in addition to the usual amenities of a 4-star hotel, it offers a 450 m 2 wellness area with a Finnish sauna, Turkish baths and Mediterranean steam bath. Of course, the hotel has a reserved number of rooms that will be available for the participants of the symposium. He has published over 100 refereed publications, 1 book and 4 book chapters. Dr. Cacciafesta is also Co-Editor of Ortodonzia Clinica, Associate Editor of Progress in Orthodontics, and Referee for a great number of international magazines such as the American Journal of Orthodontics, Dentofacial Orthopedics and the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics. 4 5

4 Travel Registration and fees The most convenient way to travel is by air. The airport Verona Villafranca Valerio Catullo is only 30 km away. It is also possible to fly to Bergamo al Serio airport, which has flights by Ryanair and is about 100 km from Lazise. Alternatively the airports in Milan and Venice are within travelling distance (about 150 and 160 km). Travelling by car, coming from the north of the Brenner Pass you drive to Lazise via the A22 Modena-Brennero motorway. Coming from the west, drive along the A4 Milano-Venezia motorway to the venue.
