2 WHAT IS WHINN? The City of Odense and the Region of Southern Denmark together with a range of other partners will create a week long international event with focus on Health and Innovation. The reason is the growing need for new innovative solutions to solve the problems in the health related sectors, and the need for new ideas for existing and coming businesses to bring these ideas to market as products. All activities are arranged in collaboration between researchers, public interests and private companies. 6 EXPLANATION OF ILLUMINAUT EVENT Illuminaut WHINN tour 2015 USABILITY AND END USER TEST 1/2 Test your product with Danish users and Health care Professionals For Japanese companies that sell products aimed at health care industry or for private use in the homes, the right approach towards the European market is essential for financial success. To obtain information about the demands your product would have to meet we create a unique event where we invite people from health care professions and from relevant user groups to meet with you in a usability test laboratory. Here at least 10 people from relevant user segments will test your product and give you feedback on the potential and feedback on special needs and demands. So you get to exhibit your product at a special exhibition where we arrange test users to try your product and give feedback which is recorded and made available to you afterwards for further development. All paperworks and release forms will be handled by Illuminaut. We facilitate this usability test and gather the video recorded material together with a written report summing up the main points of the test.

7 EXPLANATION OF ILLUMINAUT EVENT Illuminaut WHINN tour 2015 USABILITY AND END USER TEST 2/2 Test your product with Danish users and Health care Professionals The focus will be specifically on: Technologies for monitoring of and communication with the elderly and frail Technologies for training and exercise for the elderly and frail Technologies for assisting the life and daily activities of the elderly and frail Participating in this will give access to a special event Monday evening, where selected speakers give an introduction to the health care sector in Denmark and how we organise our care for elderly and frail.

8 EXPLANATION OF ILLUMINAUT EVENT Illuminaut WHINN tour 2015 WHINN EXHIBITION PARTICIPATION Exhibit your product or company at the international WHINN EXHIBITION with thousands of guests The WHINN EXHIBITION takes place in the OCC (Odense Congress Center) where around 1500 international representatives of health research and health providers will be present The WHINN EXHIBITION is also open for the general public The minimum requirement is a 9 m2 booth. This include walls, basic lighting, electricity, adapters, internet connection, lunch and coffee. Booths are sold in increments of 9 m2. Exhibitors also get their logo on the WHINN website and conference app with a 150 words description The WHINN EXHIBITION is a part of the official WHIN program and contract is signed directly with WHINN organization. Illuminaut offer to assist you with all related tasks such as transportation, hotel booking, guiding the application process, import of exhibited items, organizing marketing material, supplying assistant and communication with the OCC staff.

9 EXPLANATION OF ILLUMINAUT EVENT Illuminaut WHINN tour 2015 DANISH INNOVATION NETWORKING An introduction to innovation and entrepreneurship in Denmark Illuminaut arrange a special afternoon with inspirational talks as well as showcasing of examples of projects from Danish Universities and innovation units. Presentation by Dorthe Feveile Kjerkegaard, Innovation Consultant at Region Syddanmark Presentation by Lars Elbæk, Associated Professor and Research leader at University of Southern Denmark Presentation by students from University of Southern Denmark, selected cases from education in health, movement and innovation

10 EXPLANATION OF ILLUMINAUT EVENT Illuminaut WHINN tour 2015 PRIVATE DINNER FOR JAPANESE GUESTS Illuminaut will arrange a special evening event for those that wish to know more about how to use Denmark as a platform for innovation or for the establishing of a European department. Either for sales or R&D. There will be a buffet style dinner and participants will be representatives from Japanese companies, Illuminaut staff and some special guests. These guests will represent private companies as well a public offices. This will include a presentation from the science park Odense, Developing Fyn / Odense Welfare Consortium and other similar organizations.

11 EXPLANATION OF ILLUMINAUT EVENT Illuminaut WHINN tour 2015 IDEATION DOJO Co-design Innovation workshop This is a special offer where Illuminaut will create a unique private session for only your company staff and selected users from potential user groups or professionals from related areas. This may be health care professionals or people with disabilities. Together we go through a four hour workshop where a facilitator introduces exercises that will enable all the participants to be as engaged into the ideation process as possible. Staff will record all the ideas and results created during the process. A deliverable in the form of a report and illustrations of all posters, mock-ups and notes will be delivered. Depending on the theme of the ideation process we will either use Lego Mindstorms, play doh, Littlebits, cardboard or other materials for making physical, tangible mock-ups. The methodolgy of the process will be based on The Creative Platform developed at University of Aalborg in a version specially adapted to Japanese users by Illuminaut. We will also include divergent and convergent thinking processes as described in Design Thinking. Price will vary based on needs and actual arrangement.
