CLASSES SOCCER (BIG SOCCER MONDAYS GRADES 2-5) (LITTLE SOCCER TUESDAYS GRADES K - 1 ) (TINY SOCCER THURSDAYS GRADES JK - K) MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, & THURSDAYS WITH COACH D. VOCAL STUDIO/SINGING CLASS (GRADES 1-5) MONDAYS WITH OUR VERY OWN MS. CINTIA LOVO-ARIAS The class will include singing lessons and special techniques to develop healthy and beautiful singing voices! Stage presence and choreography coaching will also be covered. MIDDLE EASTERN (BELLY) DANCE (GRADES K - 5) TUESDAYS AT FIDS WITH MISS LUISA FROM BELLY MOTIONS DANCE STUDIO. Students will learn various Middle-Eastern dance movements. JUNIOR GOLF (GRADES 2-5) TUESDAYS WITH F.I. GOLF PRO, CHARLIE STARRS. Golfers will improve their basic skills, gain an understanding of the rules of golf as well as the equipment used and learn to practice good sportsmanship and golf etiquette. All participants must own their own golf clubs. Class requires a minimum of 4 and/or maximum of 8. CLAY WORLD (GRADES JK - 5) WEDNESDAYS WITH MR. JORGE FROM CLAY WORLD. This program explores the art of clay modeling and character design by using hands as sculpting tools and clay as the medium. This course will improve students' fine-motor skills and artistic capabilities. Different techniques such as pointillism, spreads, textured clay, and others will be implemented. Class requires a minimum of 6 and/or a maximum of 14. JUNIOR & BASIC TENNIS (GRADES JK - 5) WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS AT THE F.I. TENNIS CENTER WITH SCOTT MOORE, F.I. TENNIS DIRECTOR/PRO. WEDNESDAYS Class for advanced players with tennis experience. FRIDAYS Class for beginning players. Scott Moore will hold an evaluation class on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, and will then place children at their appropriate levels. Each class requires a minimum of 4. SELF-DEFENSE JIU-JITSU (GRADES JK - 5) WEDNESDAYS WITH A CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR FROM THE VALENTE BROTHERS JIU-JITSU SCHOOL. The Valente Brothers Youth Program focuses on Education for Life the physical, emotional, and mental well being, as well as the education, of children. Young students are provided with powerful defensive skills, so they will be ready to stand up against bullies. Students are assisted with the development of characteristics and skills they need to live happy and balanced lives. Young pupils develop confidence, discipline, courage, responsibility, leadership skills, and other important values. Additionally, non-violent resolutions to conflict are promoted. Each class requires a minimum of 6.

2 Page 2 AH SESSION 1 CLASSES CHESS CLUB (GRADES K - 5) THURSDAYS WITH ENMANUEL IGLESIAS, A USCF NATIONAL MASTER. Learn to think big by joining the FIDS Chess Club. Students will utilize their critical thinking skills to master this fun and amazing game. CREATIVE WRITING CLUB (GRADES 1 5) THURSDAYS WITH OUR VERY OWN MRS. G. Who knew writing and expressing yourself could be so much fun? Club offers a supportive learning environment for students where they will engage in writing stories, poetry, small skits and plays, and simply writing for pleasure. Each week, children will discover the joys of writing and sharing their work through creative, exciting, and enjoyable activities. Adding elements of dramatic play will enhance their writing. Different themes and writing games will be explored. Children will become more confident in expressing their feelings and ideas. Creative Writing Club will culminate with a reading performance to which all parents will be invited to attend. Each student will take home a personal portfolio of the writings they created throughout the quarter. FUN FRIDAY (GRADES K 5) FRIDAYS WITH COACH D. The class consists of indoor/outdoor activities. Outdoor games/activities include Capture the Flag, dodge ball, tagging games, fishing, and much more! Class requires a minimum of 8. DESIGN LAB CLASS (GRADES K - 5) FRIDAYS AT FIDS WITH AN INSTRUCTOR FROM DESIGN LAB OF MIAMI. The objective of the program is to introduce students to the fundamentals of sewing and fashion design. A new aspect of fashion technology has also been added. The program will cover machine basics, measuring, patterns, cutting, and construction, along with 3D printing, laser cutting, and digital printing. Students will enjoy learning these valuable life skills, as well as learning to incorporate technological advances in wearable technology. The goal of the class is to experiment in creating accessories and wearable garments using the latest technologies.
