3 Our programs are educational but they are also an escape, a time to be with others, to see ones self from a new perspective, and to have fun. We strike the perfect balance between the familiar and the new, the educational and the recreational, the entertaining and the thought-provoking, the challenging and the rewarding because what fun really, is one without the other.

5 Kids clubs Our Kids clubs bring young people together around similar interests within a cooperative team atmosphere. Innovative activities are specially selected to strike the perfect balance between engaging and thought-provoking; between challenging and rewarding. Math club Challenge yourself, have fun, develop skills and improve confidence in math as a university student mentor leads the way! Session 1: Jan. 12, 19, 26, Feb. 2; Session 2: Jan. 13, 20, 27, Feb. 3; Session 3: Feb. 23, Mar. 2, 9, 23 $100 French club Make new friends as you share in French conversations and activities. You will want to show off your new skills when you get home and back to school. Grades 3 5: Jan. 7 to Feb. 11 $ Spa science Allow your mind, body, and spirit to be pampered as you explore the science of the spa. Discover the power of essential oils and natural ingredients while creating your personal line of products. Grades 3 5: Jan. 6 to Feb. 10 $150 Game design pro Young technophiles are invited to design their very own video game. Create levels that only you know how to beat! Grades 3 5: Jan. 6 to Feb. 10; Grades 6 8: Jan. 5 to Feb. 9 $150 Sr. web animation Join our working animation studio to create original computer-animated characters, and with the help of your mentor bring them to life! 7 Holiday programs March break camp Young people have the opportunity to delve into their current interests while discovering new ones too. Our small groups and individualized attention builds a sense of cooperation and belonging. This highly supportive community environment encourages kids to develop their strengths, face new challenges, build confidence and most importantly have fun! March 16 Egyptology Stop motion Robo tech March 17 Fashion diva designers Medical mysteries Robo tech theme park tycoon March 18 Marvels of magic Youth U-tube viral video Robo tech mega maze March 19 Art explorers Stop motion Robo tech extreme obstruction March 20 Amazing race Game design Advanced robotics programming What to expect for March break: $35/day Register for one day or all five (up to one week in advance) For youth in grades 3 to 8 Program runs from 9:00 to 4:00 p.m. Complimentary before and after care from 8:10 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. Located on the Brock University campus Summer camp Summer camp features over 50 unique programs from medical mysteries to spa science, and cartooning to robotics. We take full advantage of our unique facilities, including labs, small learning spaces, the Niagara escarpment, the challenge course and the Olympic-sized swimming pool. Keep an eye out for our new leadership program this summer for youth aged Gain valuable experience and develop key transferable skills while playing a key role in the delivery of our summer sessions. 9 Courses for teens and adults Our courses encourage learning in a friendly, safe and enjoyable community atmosphere. Come explore an area of interest, ignite a new passion, feed your sense of curiosity, and enjoy special time just for yourself or as a family. Spanish 101 Get ready for travel, an exchange, or your gap-year away or just impress your friends next time you are out for tacos! Have fun in an informal and conversational setting. No experience needed. Jan. 13 to Feb. 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. $150 Social media mashup Social media is changing the world and how people and organizations communicate, connect and engage. Learn how the power of facebook, twitter, instagram and linkedin can transform and amplify personal and professional relationships. Jan. 26 to Feb. 9 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. $100 Artist studio Are you creative or wished you could explore that side of you? Experiment with new ways to express your artistic side through writing, drawing, photography and more. Each week will focus on a new talent and will encourage you to express your inner artist. Jan. 26 to Mar. 1 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. $150 Your digital edge Through the use of the latest web tools you will create a stunning digital portfolio to expand and enhance your e-portfolio. Come learn how to best present your work both in person and online. Jan. 13 to Feb. 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. $150 What to expect for courses and adventures: Open to all learners Located on the Brock University campus Register online or over the phone (up to one week in advance) Family adventures Extreme science family adventure Experiment with scaled-down natural disasters including tornadoes, volcanoes, and earthquakes. Use chemistry, biology and physics to learn about the natural wonders of the world and create some of your own. February 28 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. $5 Robo tech: vehicle challenge family adventure Your family will compete to design and build the fastest, strongest, smallest, largest, lightest, heaviest, most maneuverable, most durable, and coolest Lego NXT robot vehicle to accomplish a variety of tasks. 11 Conversation cafés Conversation cafés are facilitated discussions exploring 21 st century questions with no easy answers. Everyone is welcome; come participate in this thought-provoking and innovative learning environment or feel free to just listen-in as well. Anxiety: the disease of the 21 st century? 13 School trips In our one, two and three-day school trip experiences small groups of young people work with university student mentors to discover new interests, develop transferable skills, and see themselves in a post-secondary setting. Youth find they flourish in such a safe and supportive environment, they begin to dream about the future and see themselves attending post-secondary one day. Students and teachers have the chance to choose from over 50 classes in streams of: Leadership Business and innovation Science Social science Humanities Culminate your trip to our beautiful campus by climbing at our rock climbing tower or high ropes challenge course. We will make sure you are having a great time, while also bringing subjects to life in ways you d never expect and will never forget.
