2 VENUE OPTIONS Nashville Zoo offers a variety of wedding locations throughout our 188-acre property. It is the ideal place for a destination wedding conveniently located near all the excitement Nashville has to offer. Our beautiful venue options range in tastes from the charm of the Grassmere Historic Home to the whimsy of the Wild Animal Carousel to the exotic backdrop of Botswana Overlook.

3 GRASSMERE HISTORIC HOME VENUE OPTIONS Outdoors Suited for: Ceremonies The Zoo s unique history comes alive at the Grassmere Historic Home. This venue offers a front lawn, barn or garden option for your ceremony location. Maximum capacity: 300 seated ceremony

4 JUNGLE TERRACE VENUE OPTIONS Outdoors/Covered Suited for: Reception Our most popular reception option, Jungle Terrace surrounds guests with lush landscape and the sounds of wildlife. With the Zoo as your backdrop, this tented area is ideal for dancing the night away with your guests. Maximum capacity: 350 cocktail style / 250 seated dinner

6 BOTSWANA OVERLOOK VENUE OPTIONS Outdoors/Partially Covered Suited for: Bridal Luncheon, Cocktail Party, Rehearsal Dinner, Ceremony Botswana offers sweeping views of the African habitat. In 2017, Rhinos and hoofstock will be introduced to this secret hideout nestled inside the African Savannah. Maximum capacity: 100 cocktail style /60 seated dinner or ceremony

Guests will experience an African Village right here in Nashville.

Two to three hour rentals are available on weekdays for a discounted rate when available. We offer a 10% discount for weddings taking place November 1 through March 14. Weddings are not available the last 3 weekends of October. Wedding events must take place after the Zoo closes and do not include admission. Your package includes free parking for guests after 5:30 p.m., one host at the main gate and a Zoo representative on-site during event. Wedding ceremonies are only allowed with accompanying wedding reception on same evening and include: Complimentary one hour wedding rehearsal. Rehearsal dates are based on availability. One year Nashville Zoo dual membership for newlyweds One security guard One golf cart escort for one consecutive hour One complimentary standard photo shoot session for up to 4 people on event date, before event or up to three months after event (scheduling required).

11 VENUE ENHANCEMENTS No where else can you get your picture taken with a giraffe or have a chincilla greet your guests. Create a wedding experience that stands out with these venue enhancements.

12 PROGRAMS Nashville Zoo Stars Program: $225 A 30-minute meet-and-greet at the rental site with two of our education animals & their keepers. Upgrade to A - list Zoo Stars for an additional $50. VENUE ENHANCEMENTS VIP Photo Shoot: $200 Includes a two-hour golf cart escort for bride, groom, photographer and assistant. Photo session can be scheduled up to one year in advance of event or three months after event. Times and dates are dependent on staffing availability. Giraffe Photo Opportunity: $75 per person A photo and feeding opportunity inside our giraffe exhibit with giraffes in background. Photos can be scheduled 5-6:30 p.m. March 15 through October 15. Client must provide photographer. A maximum of six people are allowed in the exhibit. EQUIPMENT Many of our rental venues include a set number of tables and chairs. Below is a list of pricing for additional needs beyond the scope of what is included in the rental. 13 RENTAL POLICY Nashville Zoo maintains a high level of care for our animals and strives to keep the landscaping pristine. No private or public event shall impede upon the health and well-being of the animal collection nor shall it damage or in any way alter the grounds or plant life.

14 DEPOSITS Venue space may be held for 2 weeks without a signed contract. A nonrefundable deposit of 50% of venue fee is due with signed contract. Cancellations accepted in written form only. Any cancellations that occur within 45 days of event date require full payment. A $500 security deposit is due with final payment. Security deposits are refunded 30 days post event where all rules and regulations were adhered and no damage or additional charges resulted from event RESTRICTIONS & REQUIREMENTS No permanent attachments (nails, staples, etc..) for the use of décor may be affixed to any wall, plant or structure. No open flames. All candles must be inside glass vessels. The following items are prohibited: Confetti, balloons, piñatas, rice, fake flower petals, birds or butterflies, balls or flying objects, animals, weapons. Alcohol, in the form of wine and beer, is only allowed after Zoo closing. The only exception is Botswana Overlook, where it is allowed in limited quantities and with restrictions before closing. The procurement and delivery of all alcohol is the responsibility of the Client and should be coordinated with the Event Representative. Removal of all alcohol is the responsibility of the Client and must take place by the end of the event. A licensed bartender is required where alcohol is served and is to be procured through the catering contract. Cash bars are only allowed where a licensed bartending company is hired and approved through Event Representative. Catering must be selected, contracted, and paid through Taste of the Wild Catering. Catering minimums do apply. Insurance certificate naming Nashville Zoo as additionally insured due 30 days prior to event. Nashville Zoo is a non-smoking facility. A designated smoking area can be added for a fee of $ Those smoking in undesignated areas may result in the removal from property of the perpetrator and loss of all or some part of the security/damage deposit. RECOMMENDATIONS The Zoo recommends securing services from the Zoo s Preferred Vendor list. Fees are assessed for outside vendors. Wedding planners are strongly encouraged when ceremony takes place on Zoo grounds.
