2 We would like to thank you for requesting information about Weddings and Special Celebrations in Yosemite National Park. Yosemite is a magnificent location for celebrations and special events. Its grandeur and beauty is truly world class. We host catered receptions year-round to take full advantage of the beauty of Yosemite in every season. DNC Parks and Resorts is privileged to offer magnificent banquet rooms at internationally renowned locations in the Park and pricing options to fit almost any budget. The Ahwahnee, designed by acclaimed architect Gilbert Stanley Underwood in the mid-1920 s, is considered the finest example of National Park architecture in the United States. The hotel s special function space boasts floor to ceiling scenic views of Yosemite s famous granite walls. Yosemite Lodge at the Falls, located just steps from the highest waterfall in North America, has two banquet rooms featuring floor to ceiling glass windows available for private catered receptions. The historic Wawona Hotel built in 1879 retains its pre-20th century Victorian architecture and charm in a beautiful pastoral setting. Golfing, tennis, hiking and swimming are among the many activities available at Wawona. Rustic and simple, the Curry Village Pavilion offers banquet space and patios with a casual charm sure to make you and your guests feel relaxed and comfortable in a natural setting. 3 General Catering Information Booking Function Space Banquet rooms may be booked one year or more in advance. Room rental fees vary from $ to $3, depending on the type of event, location and number of guests. All banquet space is rented for a maximum of up to five hours. The fifth hour is permitted at The Ahwahnee and Yosemite Lodge at the Falls, please call for more information. We reserve the right to relocate your function based on the anticipated number of guests. Due to the location and architecture of banquet facilities, other events may occur within the same vicinity and time as your event. If your function is scheduled outdoors, Delaware North Company Parks and Resorts at Yosemite (DNC Yosemite), is not responsible for inclement weather. Your banquet rental charge includes a Planning Consultant, Banquet Team, banquet tables, gift and guest book table, cake table, chairs, classic white or ivory linen and napkins, china, silver and glassware, set up and tear down of function space. Deposits and Cancellation A non-refundable advance deposit is required at time of booking. Required deposits range from $ $4, depending on the type of event, location and number of guests. The deposit will be applied to your final catering bill. Payment of the total estimated bill is due 30 days prior to your event. In the case of an overpayment a refund will be credited. Set-up and Decorations We offer two hours of set up time prior to all events. Flowers and large rental items may be delivered two hours prior to your function. Smaller items such as place cards and favors may be brought to the Banquet Manager at an agreed upon time. Our staff will be happy to assist in the placement of these items provided they are table ready. For instance, place cards must be grouped according to table number or in alphabetical order, labels removed from votives and candles inserted with wicks up. At the end of your event, our staff will collect small items you have brought in and place them with your gifts for you to take with you. Please note: All decoration and personal items must be removed immediately at the conclusion of your event. Any items left behind will be subject to a $250 per day storage charge. Food and Beverage/ Event Minimums All food and beverage must be purchased through DNC Yosemite. A food and beverage minimum (Event Minimum) is applied to all catered functions at any DNC Yosemite location. The food and beverage minimum varies depending on the event date, time, location, number of guests and banquet rooms used. The food and beverage minimum does not include banquet room rental charges or room blocks. Please note: the current customary service charge is 20% and California State sales tax 8.75%.

4 Wedding Cakes: Wedding cakes are available from The Ahwahnee Hotel and can be delivered for events at Yosemite Lodge or Curry Village. Unfortunately we do not deliver to The Wawona Hotel or outside Yosemite Valley. We can offer suggested bakeries nearby that deliver. A $1.50 per person outside cake charge will apply at The Wawona Hotel. Lodging Blocks If a lodging block is reserved, a deposit is required. This amount will be a percentage of the total nights blocked and applied to your event deposit if all reservation requirements have been satisfied. Lodging blocks are held until 45 days prior to an event. At that time any unused/unpaid rooms will be released. All cancellations must be received in writing to avoid additional penalties. If a guest cancels a room booked on your room block your master account will be charged for the room and tax for each night cancelled, unless we are able to resell the room and the hotel/property achieves 100% occupancy. Lodging rates are not guaranteed. Prepayment does not guarantee rates. Music Policy Our music policies are established so that special events will not intrude upon park visitors enjoyment of the natural environment. Quiet time begins at 10:00 PM for all valley locations except for Curry Village and The Wawona Hotel which is 9:30 PM. Dancing and music are permitted indoors at all Yosemite locations. Dancing at The Ahwahnee Hotel is permitted only in the Winter Club Room. All musical entertainment at any DNC Yosemite facility must be pre-approved by management. Amplified music is not allowed outdoors. Parking Parking is available in public parking areas. There is no special event parking at any location. Valet Parking is available at The Ahwhanee and is complimentary to your guests. Childcare At The Ahwahnee call the Concierge at (209) At Yosemite Lodge call the Front Desk Manager at (209) Due to the limited number of baby-sitters, we cannot guarantee all requests will be filled. Service is provided in lodging rooms only. Maximum number of (3) children per room. Children must be age 3 or older and potty trained. Complaints of loud noise by other guests and/or intervention by security or the National Park Service may result in penalties and additional room charges. Pre-Approved Vendor Referral We are happy to send an extensive referral list upon confirmation of your catered event. Unfortunately are unable to endorse any one vendor and recommend investigating thoroughly before you hire or contract any service.

5 Ceremonies Outdoor ceremony locations at The Ahwahnee Hotel or Wawona Hotel are exclusively held for events hosting a reception at the hotel. A lawn rental charge and optional seating may be added for an additional charge. We are not responsible for inclement weather and cannot guarantee weather conditions at any time of year. The Ahwahnee has a covered terrace outdoors that may be used if weather is inclement; The Wawona Hotel has no covered or indoor alternative location. No amplified music is allowed during ceremony at either location. Yosemite Chapel Ceremonies: Wedding Ceremonies can be booked at Yosemite Valley Chapel. Visit the Yosemite Chapel website for more information or contact Faith Moore, Chapel Secretary at (209) or yosemitechapel@sbcglobal.net. Wedding and Special Event Permits: Permits are required for any size ceremonies held within Yosemite National Park. Please contact the National Park Service Permit office at (209) for more information. Permit application can be at the following link: Notable Comments There is a $20.00 entrance fee per vehicle collected by the National Park Service at Park entrance stations. Gasoline is not available in Yosemite Valley; however, gas is available at service stations near all park entrances. By law tire chains must be carried in your vehicle between October and April. Please contact road & weather for latest updates on conditions in the Park (209) No food or coolers are allowed to be stored in vehicles in Yosemite due to Bears. Helium balloons are prohibited in Yosemite National Park. In addition, the use of rice, birdseed, confetti or flower pedals to scatter or throw in association with an event are prohibited due to the impact on the environment.

6 The Ahwahnee The Ahwahnee has extensive catering menus with a large selection of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, plated entrees, buffet options etc. Our talented pastry chef is on-staff for your wedding cake or special event cake needs. We also feature an extensive wine list with award wining vintages from California and abroad. Average total reception costs generally range between $ and $ plus per person to include hors d'oeuvres, bar, wine/champagne, plated dinner or buffet, wedding cake or birthday/anniversary cakes, room rental fees including set-up/clean up, linens, china/crystal, and tax/service charges. Dinner pricing averages between $40.00-$67.00 for plated entrees including a salad or soup, and $55.00-$66.00 for buffet service plus tax and service. These are pricing averages only; your personalized dinner menu may be more or less depending on your selections and number of courses. Beverage pricing All beverages are charged per consumption - we charge you only what is consumed by your guests. Plan on spending $ $40.00 per person for a Wine, Beer & Champagne reception or $ $50.00 per person for Wine, Beer, Champagne & a Full Cocktail Bar. These are pricing averages only; pricing may be more or less depending on your wine selections. A $350 bar minimum is required for a Full Bar. Three (3) hour maximum for all bar service. No minimum or time limited is required for a Wine, Beer & Champagne Bar. We allow dancing and music in our Winter Club Room. Bands or DJs from our pre-approved musicians list is fine. You may also bring your own Band; they must first be pre-approved by your catering manager. We are happy to provide you with a Vendor lists of local musicians, florists, photographers, videographers, salon stylists, officiates, etc.

7 Wawona Hotel The Wawona Hotel offers full catering including plated entrees for parties of up to 80 persons or buffets for parties of 25 or more, your options are quite extensive. We have extensive catering menus with a large selection of hot and cold hors d oeuvres, plated entrees, buffet options etc. We also feature wine lists with vintages from California and abroad. Average total reception costs generally range between $80.00 and $ per person including hors d oeuvres, bar, wine/ champagne, dinner or buffet, room rental fees including set-up/clean up, linens, china/crystal, and tax/service charges. Dinner pricing averages between $30.00-$45.00 for plated entrees and/ or buffet service plus tax and service charge. These are pricing averages only; your personalized dinner menu may be more or less depending on your selections. Beverage pricing All beverages are charged per consumption - we charge only what your guests consume. Plan on spending $ $30.00 per person for a Full Cocktail bar or Wine, Beer & Champagne Bar. A $ minimum is required for a Full Bar. These are pricing averages only; pricing may be more or less depending on your wine selections. Three (3) hour maximum for all bar service. No minimum or time limit is required for a Wine, Beer & Champagne Bar. We allow dancing and music in The Sun Room. You may select a Band or DJ from our pre-approved musicians list or you may bring your own DJ or Band; they must first be pre-approved by our catering manager. The Wawona Hotel hosts a BBQ Saturday evenings between May and September from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on the lawns near the Golf Shop and Sun Room - this usually is not an inconvenience but it does add additional visitors to the hotel during those periods. We are happy to provide you with a Vendor lists of local musicians, florists, photographers, videographers, salon stylists, officiates, etc.

Average total reception costs generally range between $80.00 and $ per person including hors d oeuvres, bar, wine/champagne, dinner or buffet, room rental fees including set-up/clean up, linens, china/crystal, and tax/service charges. 9 Curry Village The Curry Village Pavilion offers a broad variety of options and selections for your event. As the largest lodging property in Yosemite, Curry Village offers some of the most varied food options of buffets from fresh-baked pizza to Prime Rib. Average total reception costs generally range between $60.00 and $80.00 plus per person to include hors d oeuvres, bar, wine/champagne, plated dinner or buffet, wedding cake or birthday/anniversary cakes, room rental fees including set-up/ clean up, linens, china/crystal, and tax/service charges. Dinner pricing averages between $ $33.00 for buffet service plus tax and service. These are pricing averages only; your personalized dinner menu may be more or less depending on your selections. Beverage pricing All beverages are charged per consumption - we charge you only what is consumed by your guests. Plan on spending $20 - $30.00 per person for Wine, Beer, Champagne & a Full Cocktail Bar. These are pricing averages only; pricing may be more or less depending on your wine selections.
