1 ART: CLAY ADVENTURES It is clay time! Experience the fun of earthy clay. Come join us as we go on a clay adventure. You will learn hand building techniques such as coiling, slab, sgraffito, scoring, and many more to create unique pieces. We will build different projects each class, from animals and masks to functional objects. All projects will be glazed and fired by the instructor. Aprons will be provided. In this class you will learn how to decorate cookies with sugar-paste. From fun simple ideas to 3 dimensional masterpieces, the sky is the limit on what you can create. Once you learn how to use the basic tools and supplies, your cookies will be as exciting as your imagination allows. We will make cookie art based on themes and get to see how everyone comes up with their own ideas using the same supplies. It is great fun for all ages. All supplies are included. All you need is a box to take home your cookies. A $5.00 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class. Over the course of four weeks we will learn different cooking techniques food prep and presentation. 3 DANCE: JAZZ Class is designed for students to learn, The Art of Dance. No previous experience required. You can start in a beginning class and move up to an intermediate or advanced class. All students will audition and be placed in the appropriate level class. Participants will learn strength and flexibility exercises, style-specific dance techniques, and how to follow choreography. Students will be taught all the best stylish moves in a fun atmosphere. Learn skills, build confidence and have a great time learning this total dance experience.
