2 Story Lab ramps up for another action packed program of handson, minds-on fun and creativity! Step in to the ever popular Story Lab and explore the art of storytelling through a variety of fun digital mediums including workshops in animation, gaming, electronics and robotics whilst also getting hands-on with writing, cartooning and construction. Story Lab will let your imagination run wild while learning skills and techniques from the experts. Join one workshop or stay for the whole day, with supervised activities at lunchtime. Our workshops are designed to cater for different age groups and learning styles, and all materials are supplied. Workshops require group participation. Tickets : Mon 11 Jan, : Tue 12 Jan, Bring your favourite toy, LEGO creation, or object from home and learn stop motion animation techniques to bring your characters to life. These workshops are accessible to everyone with a creative eye and big imagination. All materials are supplied. DIY animation wristband USB drive with a copy of their own creation. DIY animation Introduction to Zine Tickets : Mon 11 Jan, : Tue 12 Jan, Harness your creativity and learn how to create your very own mini zine. This analogue outlet of expression will help you learn the skills to create a zine using simple DIY materials, your originality, and artistry. will get to take home a copy of their zine created on the day as well as zines created by other participants. Create a Zine Tickets $ : Sat 16 Jan, Embrace your creativity as you work together as a group to create a collaborative zine that expresses your interests. This analogue outlet of expression will help you learn the skills to create a zine using simple DIY materials along with gaining a basic understanding of the history of this self-publishing medium.
